I don't think he took the hit for Vidya. I felt he was trying to run to protect Abhira/Ruhi who were just behind Vidya. Any which ways he ignoring Vidya continues and that's a win 👍

I think this is the million dollar question today 😂 i know the scene demanded it so she can kick him off the bed but its just funny in an overall sense for him to be sleeping like that 😂😂

Honestly if you ask me, I don't think he was even pretending to save Vi. I feel woh galti se passby kar gaya and got hit. But even I honestly loved how he just didn't care whether she existed or not & neither did his papa tell him anything about it
