She is right. Oscar is mostly given to american movies. They should call it hollywood award instead of global award.

Oscars have no obligation to recognise indian cinema.

Focus on part should be to make indian award credible but we know that isn't possible.

So Indians should not focus on awards

Strictly speaking of hindi cinema, forget Oscars majority can't recognize it's current state.

With the current crop of Nepo kids even Filmfare will conveniently handover the awards to OTT actors.
