First she herself questioned why you want marry...accused Jhanak that she has been waiting for her husband.

When she refused, she flipped started gaslighting Ani...she is a cruel vile woman who try yo play other people emotions and tries attack on their weakness.

Today Thammi did her Thammi thing again. She shuts up anyone who talks sense. When Minu was asking bips and others to participate in house work, she said yeh sub bathey kyo nikal rahe ho, hum toh yaha holi ke barey mein baat karna hai. twice! Woman! how did your hair turn gray.

Her back story ..

Her mom was married to Bips dad, and her forced her to be a dancer, etc. until Bips was 5, then mom met someone who safely took her out of the hell-hole, and adopted Bips as his daughter. But mom didn't get a chance to divorce bio dad in the hurry to escape. Now the bio dad has found her and demanding his pound of flesh. And the adopted dad also seem to have regrets of taking up responsibility of her mom.
