Can you guys respect the timeline given to participants or your own time?

This thread was posted in Feb. There are 2 extensions now. The result will come by April at this rate. For a valentine's day contest the thread itself was posted so late. And random extensions given every other day. Why the heck some people sent entries early then? Or you guys are waiting cause your friends didn't sent anything yet and have to cater to them.

Very unfair and annoying practice by you folks. It's a mockery of people who respects deadline, does so many trials errors for that one beautiful edits they send on time, and then they wait for contest to arrive only to see another extension for friends and family. What a disappointing thing to see.

We acknowledge that some submitted their entries early, and their commitment is valued.

While this is a contest, not a game, the goal is to encourage creativity and participation. Extensions were granted to allow more people the opportunity to submit their work, not to favor any particular individuals. We’ve always maintained flexibility for such kind of contest deadline because creative entries take time and effort.

If someone genuinely wants to participate but needs an extension, we try to accommodate them.

We assure you that all entries are judged fairly and anonymously, regardless of when they were submitted or who submitted them. No one receives special treatment.

Not sure If this reply will be posted thanks to your fellow mod friends putting warning after warning 😂

Not sure who's commitment is valued here apart from late comers who have some or other reasons to not send entries, ask for extension and ofcrs it's granted cause it's evident by language and tagging they are besties with contest creators. Yep real life is hard but some people balance things..it don't seem fair some send entries and wait for contest to start only for it to extend two times. One time is cool...twice? For what?

If number of entries are lesser that should be respected and contest should start, it don't seem fair if huge number of submission isn't happening so mods are waiting for more entries.

Regarding fair judgement ...no comments that's a can of worms😂 but just putting it here- there are 2-3 people in IF who wins all sorts of contests. So i guess no one is better apart from them.or worthy of winning 😂😂

Fine at the end of day you guys have power for everything you will do what u want. When the site owner isn't interested in anything no point arguing with you people. No need to reply to this.

Done submitting my final entry.

I am not sure if any of them is worth winning or even to be in the top 3 list. However, I had lots and lots of fun making them. I got a chance to enhance my editing skills in a long while. This is the first time in a while that we had such an 'open to edit any format' kind of creative contest. Thank you mods for organizing this and encouraging the remaining editors on IF.

Also I'm really, really looking forward to see all the entries after the results are out (but ofc only if it's feasible)

It is some people's prerogative that they submit before the deadline, but sometimes it is not possible for various reasons. This is not the first time contests are given extensions, nor will it be the last. Almost all contests are given extensions.

But one thing, the extension is given to everyone, not just the one asking for it. even people who have already submitted can re-submit or make changes. I am sure mods are accepting and don't say nahi aapne pehle submit kardiya and you are not allowed to submit further entries or change the ones which you have already submitted.

Regarding fair judgement, it is a matter of perception. Aap ke liye shayad lag raha hoga ki judgment is skewed or partial, many people don't seem to think, evident from the fact that people continue to participate in contests repeatedly. Many contests are posted for voting, woh toh fair haina ? Not every contest can be posted for voting.

@b: Idk who you are referring to here but this much I can tell you, I am not Parm's best friend anymore than she is mine and I was one of the people who happened to request for an extension. Agar meine manga hota woh tab bhi dete.. aur best friend hote toh ek week ka extension dete, do din ka nahi.

didnt need anyone elses clarification lol it was addressed to creators of contest. and the person decided for extension, wasnt directed at anyone

not the first time ever they did it. i dont participate in much games/contests etc bt often they extend 2-3 times wat i hv observed, then they dont even post the result on time. a online contest wont affect anyone its all fun and games, bt where is the responsibility is my question.

i cant response to 500 word count reply lmao sorry i said what i wanted. regarding results and winners lets not go there. i have been part of some teams i hv seen levels of so called transparency

shaq what the puck and kya hi ukhar lenge hum if someone rigged the contest or not. mods are busy in these kind of things, not to address valid concerns of site users. they hv all the power they do what they want.

didnt know a question to game creators rattled u so much. pls dont reply cz some of ur friends were quite generous to give me 80% warning, it changed to 60 so i hv 15 post limits daily. wont be able to reply even if i want
