No, no, it's okay. I thought you might dislike me or think bad about me because I supported the makers and the writers. Actually, they are showing reality.

Probably her younger sister got married in that village. When the female lead goes there she sees the people of that village think her younger sister is a witch and try to burn her. Witch is called Dainee in Bengali. The name of the web series is Dainee. This is so disgusting that this type of things happen even in 2025. Yes, I enjoy watching horror shows and supernatural shows very much because they are thrilling. But in reality I don't believe in witches. And I don't support this type of activities at all. The superstition of villagers make the lives of women hell! In this web series, the female lead fights a lot to save her younger sister. The trailer looks dark and intense! The female lead, Mimi Chakraborty is a very popular actress of Bengali film industry. You guys can turn the caption (English subtitles) on if you watch the trailer.

This is atrocious. Such activities still happen in remote villages and it’s sad to see women bearing all these. smiley13

Itv kalesh dekh dekh kar pareshan hui hu

Out of the top of my head, Chandra Nandini, starting used to be so good. Porus is also a good show. Ashoka was also good. All these shows are around 6-7 years old. I’ll see if I can compile some more shows.

Idk about kids these days but when I was a student they were kids who thought kissing someone on the lips made you pregnant smiley36 / hugging someone .. that babies were placed in mother’s stomach/womb magically after marriage.

Sorry Shirsha, I missed your tags yesterday since I was busy with some other task in IF smiley27

That'll be great. Thank you!

I have a strong dislike for Rajat Tokas so Chandra Nandini is out of my list. I've watched Ashoka it was a good show. I guess there haven't been many watchable historical dramas on itv in the past decade.

If you dislike Rajat, then I’m afraid your options will be limited since he has starred in a lot of those. I’ll tag you if I remember any more shows.

@b: yup. ITV is more interested/ focussed on showing triangles/ quadrilateral, devar bhabhi love and never ending rishtas smiley36 it’s a shame.

I'm not into comedy. So, I may not watch it. Also, I saw some promos of these shows and those promos didn't seem funny.
