The only two times in this show where Armaan chose himself and the truth were when he stopped the wedding at the last minute and when he walked out of the Poddar House with Shivani …every other time, the writers have made him do what Kaveri wanted, what Vidya wanted or what Abhira wanted …in reality, we all do things for our loved ones ..but not every time at the cost of hurting our own emotions and sentiments ..to show a character backtrack hardly weeks after taking a stand and not do right by someone who’s been punished for no fault of hers for thirty years …doesn’t make for a very pleasant watch ..good thing I stopped watching episodes after they left Poddar House ..I knew those three episodes were too good to last and the downward slide for the character was round the corner …and here we are 🤷🏻‍♀️
