seriously yaar ..at the risk of being perceived a snob, I am not a fan of this chawl life …I am all for realistic cinema ..I loved Laapata Ladies recently ..and other films set in slums or showcasing poverty ..baat woh nahin..but here it is not working for me …gimme lawyer Armaan back ..I am not into mechanic Armaan or berozgar Armaan …I mean I guess one should be thankful for small mercies..they could have made him a safai karamchari even …nothing against them but that requires a different narrative style and sensibility …ITV and definitely DKP don’t possess that !
