First of all I saw faizu in laughter chef. He knew nothing... literally nothing. He did not know how to make patra and modak dishes even which are common.

Arjun and Ali were definitely good cooks having good knowledge about cooking.

How come faizu is now cooking such hi fi dishes and even proper platting and all

This show is literally with some gimmick.

Secondly coming to Teja.. she doesn't know proper cooking. In bigg Boss her cooking was made fun of becoz she didn't know how to cook tasty dishes . However Nishant and Rajiv were good cooks. Even pratik used to cook good.

I saw Teja in laughter chef. She didn't even know how to chop vegetables. I saw her running to jasmine every now and then to learn how spring onion is cut. She didn't know even the names of most of the vegetables. She did not know what was ''muli" which means radish. Now this Teja is out of nowhere suddenly cooking hi fi dishes , and even such delicate proper platting just like a pro chef.

Suddenly she knows so many fruits vegetables spices herbs name who did not even know the common vegetable names .

This is show is definitely not showcasing reality. It is scripted and also previously planned which contestant to take further and which ones to be eliminated way before.

Well I agree to some of your points, even I watched laughter chefs and know about faisu and Teja. I also feel that show had predecided finalists and probably winner too, some parts do feel scripted. But as I have mentioned here often that I follow almost every bts/vlog etc of this show, so I know that they were trained in kitchens properly before beginning of the show. They are taught elements, recipes, platings etc, which I think even normal cooks must be taught in usual seasons, as nobody is eligible for MasterChef otherwise. Looking at faisu's daily vlogs what I understood is that they Re briefed a little in first two weeks as what kind of challenge might be in the show, and they are taught dishes related to that a week before the challenge. After they are given challenges, there is a break where they discuss their ideas with the team present there (consisting of chefs) and plan how to execute it. They propose the idea themselves, they just get some direction from the chefs team. Then they execute it themselves. After the dishes are ready, their is a break again, where they wait, the set counters get cleaned up and then comes the tasting and results. So in short, banate yeh log khud e hain, magar han inko MasterChef level ki dishes bnana sikhaya jata hai. And thora hint diya jata hai k kal kis trh ka challenge hosakta hai. And I think, its only fair. Qk agar normal homecooks bhi aate to foran foran koi innovation nhn soch paate. Acha yeh hints wala scene shru k weeks mein e tha, not now. And that is evident k ab mostly dishes bht simply execute horhi hain, there is less innovation.

From what I know, contestants were given training before the show started. They were taught how to cook and do plating. Infact, I think the training is done quite frequently even after the show started.

There is an IG page called masterchefinsider which posts clips about these contestants practicing their cooking skills in a kitchen.
