From my point of view, I don't enjoy watching the romance scenes of a couple as soon as I notice red flags in the relationship. It all feels forced and superficial to me. How do you even get past it?

Personally I am not fond of watching romantic scenes in serials/films. What I like is good storyline , be it any genre. Romance is boring. I love Hollywood movies and few Bollywood movies like sabarmati report , article 370 etc.

Romantic scenes are hardly necessary. Good storyline and good direction is what keeps audience hooked and decides the success of the serial/film. If the story is good people will be forced to watch regardless of whether it has romantic scenes or not.

One reason, I don’t like romance is because bollywood followed by serials always propagates fake philosophy and wrong ideas regarding love. Love in it's true form just means wanting the spritual betterment of the other person and consequently doing work for it.

Even abhimanyu in season 3 is hailed as a great lover but in reality he was a tragedy character. No matter how much people hail him , no one will want a life as him which proovs that he wasn’t great but rather a loser.

I criticise abhimanyu not because I support akshara but because abhimanyu was the typical example of such losers who destroy their life for their obsession of a random person.

Something similar, i find romance quite boring if it's unrealistic

I hate when peep talk about two bodies one jaan and all ..no it's two peep who have their own personality, base belief, emo, aspirations who come together with some common goals , u inspire each other to rise in love not fall ..one must not change totally 360 degree ..some amount of change due to age circumstances and relationship is natural

Plus some peep say u r partner becomes everything ( books , movies itv) but no if u do this at some time u will face issues..life is about balance ..even if u are in love don't neglect friends, fam , siblings

I learnt this early coz of dadu and big bro

life is all about give and take. The respect you get from your spouse you should give the same to them is what i believe in. The reason why i started hating akshara was because abhimanyu always prioritized goenka's over strangers. He treated them as his own family but akshara never gave same respect to his family for her abhimanyu his family will come at the end after every random strangers.

Romance , toxicity , good actors , good music, engaging storyline ..redemption & all etc etc , I've been the biggest fans of shows such as these ..I've been a fan of madhubala also (for a limited period of time ) , I've been a huge fan of kyy , I've been a huge fan of ipkknd (albeit years after it was aired ) , yrkkh s 1 & 2.

The redemption of the hero happens when he truly falls in love ....i dont consider toxicity before (thats a diff topic ) ...after commitment ,if mistreats her , or there are misunderstandings , separations, toxicity , that Is where I disconnect . In these shows I mentioned , they have a falling in love phase, married phase is very less, they either ended or went bizarre ..

In yrkkh gen 4 , falling in love phase , before marriage was next to nil. Chalo marriage phase , falling in love phase was basically a triangle bw ruhi abhira and Arman which was again hell of foolishness , still it was watchable bec abhiras char was persevered there ..

After the actual falling in love and 2nd shadi , I need not say , tracks such as infertility , 3 months narazgi , shrap , bsp , 2nd divorce and basically uptil yesterday when Arman the great left poddar house , the lead couple not only set a very poor example of what a married couple and romantic couple should NOT be , they went to extremes.

In short in gen 4 there is neither romance nor redemption . Frm today onwards let's see.

Till today it's only the actors and their chemistry which online audience may like (I don't)

oh yeah abhi might be great lover but his life is full of pain and death was truly peace for him and people who watched the show. they got closure.

there are people who move on in love and some dont. personally if you cant give 100% to anyone better not to destroy their life stay alone, thats what abhi did imo so he never moved on, it might seem pathetic bt i respect his clear mind that only akthu had that place in his life, even though we all know she deserved nothing.

and yep so true a good story dont need romance, male female frienship is so underrrated even male male/female female frndship, in todays entertainment these genders are just rivals for their so called love stories, so sad. eg in this show only, we never saw rohit arman or arman with any of his brothers truly having bond. krish is there bt hes a blind bhakt, not an equal who can actally support and advice the dude. same with abhira and even ruhi. their sisterly bond isnt consistent.

in this particular serial the leads arent even friends at first. they are two people who stayed together and they got used to it so they love each other. the bond didnt grow properly- atlst when ropu was casted i didnt feel it. shehzada time we did see these two laughing talking etc so it felt slowly their love started. new cast didnt capture that feeling.

Itv is already in dustbin.in the era where people stay in nuclear family itv is teaching woman to stay in toxic family and solve family issues leaving your career. 😄
