- it was a busy month for him , he had many things to take care of , he had to assure that everything was going according to the plan , not a single mistake is allowed to happen , he had to make sure that his sister wedding would be perfect - beyond perfect if you asked him - , everything would be as she wanted . She herself told him he's exaggerating him , he laughed about her statement saying that " it's not like you're getting married everyday , it's a once in the blue moon thing , it needs to be perfect! " , she hugged him and laughed about him mis-using the idiom , but it was just his thing to butcher things, so what if he butchered another idiom? He can simply add it to his dictionary as brand new one . - typical ayaan - his other sister had said , yes typical Ayaan , he thought to himself , he has been forever like that , too boyish , irresponsible with cool blood even if his own apartment caught fire , probably that's why he's taking this wedding away to seriously . it's his opportunity to show his family that he changed , matured , that he's finally acting his age , even though he had changed years ago but somehow , they still see him as they always did . His mom for example won't ever believe that he changed , unless he settled down, got married and give her a grandchild , as if him owning a company , being the family provider isn't enough for her to say that he changed , no , that would be the end of the world if she did , for her , marriage is the only way to prove to her that he's responsible enough , but he blames Asad for that , he's a perfect older brother - Asad did that and that - , his mom always reminds him , so what ? That's Asad not me , he would tell her , but she doesn't understand , - why you had to be perfect bhyjan ? Why you made the standards so high ? - he asked him one day after a venting session with his brother , - life forced me to - he had told him . They never had those kind of conversation ever since their dad passed away , they simply wanted to forget about their childhood and what had happened once before , but Ayaan has always appreciated his older brother , took him as a role model for him , because of how be took care of najma and Badi Ammi at his young age when life unexpectedly snatched the rug from under their feet and flipped their world upsidedown . Ayaan however never had this kind of opportunity, to be a man like Asad , to take responsibility and to be fully mature , even when he was supposed to , a decade ago , when he was engaged , soon to be married and responsible , that's what the initial plan was , yet god had other plans , and here he's now , years later , assuring everyone that he's responsible , making sure that Ammi is happy with everything he did , starting with the match he found to his younger sister , to taking care of all the ceremonies, booking tickets , trips from London to Bhopal , just being the older brother they need and the father they lost , he had never thought of doing all this , not for once , even when nikhat got married , he didn't do anything because she handled everything on her own , her divorce and the crap her ex put her through gave her so much strength . when he meet her later , once the chaos was over and they came to live with him in London , he was shocked to see how different she was , something about her changed , she wasn't his sweet young sister whom anyone could crash or surpass , instead she was strong and self independent . He welcomed the new change and cherished it , he was relieved to see that she got her happy ending after everything happened to her , for him nikaht always deserved better than that ex , he prayed always for her happiness , when she narrated to him what they did to her , his heart shattered , he hugged her crying , apologizing for not being there for her , and that was one of the many things he regreted , he should've been there to help his sister , probably if she had him , they would've not dared to hurt her , however he wasn't there , he missed the opportunity to be her strength , which troubled him for days , guilt hunting him , he talked to Asad who was still in Bhopal , to take care of the case and make sure that that son of b**** will pay for his deeds , along with his mom , he even warned Asad , asked him to keep an eye on Najma , who divorced Imran after he stood up with his family - as if they weren't guilty - and had the nerve to ask her to cut her relationship with nikhat , Najma , realizing too late what a crap of man she got married to , moved out to her brother home . hoping that Imran would go after her , fixing his mistake and apologize but he never did . she did understand that he was just being human by chosing to believe his brother and mother , she didn't ask him not to or to abandon them , however she expected him to do the same for her . instead he got pissed of whenever she mentioned nikhat name - as if it wasn't normal to mention her own sister name - and wanted her to take his family side regardless of the truth . She hoped that by their daughter arrival he would at least try to redeem himself, naïve najma! He didn't even bother to be there for her when she went through labour , she had her baby alone without him , which was the last straw for her . she asked for divorce , he didn't accept at first , he troubled her as he realized he was truly losing her , manipulating her by saying that his mom blinded him from seeing the truth, he even called nikhat to apologize , but najma didn't fall for it , not this time , she was fully aware of what kind of man he was , a coward , mommy's boy . All the love she had for him once was nothing but loath now , she didn't regret her decision , in fact she was grateful as she got to know later that he abounded his own son - Tanveer's son - and moved with his family to another city , after their reputation stained and they no longer had dignity to face people whom also avoiding any kind of interaction with them . Ayaan was both happy and relieved to see his sisters free from that family , that both of them , regardless of what they went through especially because of Imran , chosed each other and their happiness , now najma is a single mother , she raised her beautiful Haya on her own with her family , she also started her project , making clothes for plus sized women , as she herself had trouble with that , she hesitated at first , but with Zoya encouragement and a lot of support , she finally did it and she was shocked how faste the project successed . Nikhat on the other hand , finished her studies , now she's a highschool teacher - she's everyones favourite teacher - who never miss the chance to participate in the school activities , especially the ones that involve dancing . her husband , the supporting man he's, has encouraged her to open a dance school , however she barley got time to dance herself now with her full time job and her never getting tired boys , whenever nikaht visits , Sherine get headache . Ayaan never missed the opportunity to tease his mom about that , how she begs him to have a kid meanwhile she can't handle two grandchildren , reminding her that soon enough nuzhat will have other childen too , without forgetting haya , Saher and Sanem , " can you imagine how the family gatherings would be Ammi ? You don't need more grandchildren " that's was his ready response whenever she opened her favourite subject , as if there's nothing else she can talk with him about , too bad for him that his Badi bi isn't different than his mom , probably worse with her repetitive line of how old she's now , that she would be dead soon enough and before that she deserves to see him married , god , why everyone was invested in his life ? even his brother did that once , reminding him how important it's to have a family , as if it's not him himself would've not got married if he didn't meet Zoya , they would have been just two hot single Khan brothers , - unfortunately you're the only single not hot Khan brother now - , Zoya teased him

Later he told his mom and whoever asked him about mariage about this date , only that Sonia , was sometimes Priya and others jasmine , brunette today and blond on next day , he just made everyone believes that he went to different dates with different women . Nikhat was the only one who never asked him or talked to him about marriage , she always took his side , saying that he will know when it's time , or how unfair it's to force someone to get married just because the society says to , she has been there too , she knew how those rushed marriages won't ever work , but also she knew that what's her brother problem was . İt wasn't that he didn't want to get married or have kids , but for the past few years he never took his engagement ring off or dared to think about another woman . They would've had a kid running around with the rest of his nephews and nieces , instead he had a few pictures of her , a ring on the wedding finger and buried love in his heart . Trying to be the father he would never be to his younger sister , proving that he's responsible enough to his mom , checking up his emails , now that he's here and left the company under his employee control , to take care of , who could've thought ? Ayaan owning a company , a showroom dealer company of motorcycles , him himself would've not believed that, ayaan who slept on this room , full of Selman Khan posters , who used email only to flirt with girls is different than ayaan who's checking emails work . He was almost done when he noticed two specific emails , is that?! He asked himself in shock , how he did forget about that? He smiled and opened the first email ...
