In today's epi Bips informed Arshi that Ani ne J ko kas ke pakda tha! Agar yeh Kashmir ki raat, yah woh wig wale papa ke samne waist pkada tha (when Nutan ka niqab utra!) usko patha nahi kya kahti. Usko dekh kar hum bhi sharma gaye the.

On that note, about the Kashmir night. the discussion again arose about consent based on J's monologue when he was trying to make her promise that she will always stay with him, that " bukhar mein hai yaad nahi rahega, subah bhol jayenge" (not exact quote). It was about the promise, her concern atm was to calm him down and relax and rest. So subah toh yad nahi rahega toh my promise kar deti hu. Later the ILU and mere qareeb aoo and "kas" ke pakdna happened. J even later asked him bhool jaye aise kaise ho sakta ha! Until then J was under presumption that it was ons, and he always loved Arshi, and believed in Ani;s "performance".

Well, this is my interpretation of the scene.

Well, this is my interpretation of the scene.

The way I see it - Kashmir night is made of 2 parts - Ani remembers the part where gets her promise holds her and then both go to sleep. It is this part that Jhanak doubts if he will remember.

Once Ani has the dream and wakes up for Part 2; IMO he definitely puts pressure on an initially reluctant Jhanak to hold him and submit to his physical need. J gives in to Ani's need, since she is moved by his declaration of love. I did not find anything wrong here, because 1. they are married and 2. even if Ani was not in his senses, declaring false love is not something one does when not in their senses, it is general understanding that it is truth that comes out. For Part 2 we did not hear hear J voicing about any concerns of Ani remembering it the next day, so she may have thought he was fully conscious for Part 2 at least enough to initiate and sustain love making and may have considered it consensual.

Next day - J either thought Ani knew but was too embarrased to speak about it, or maybe had doubts about Ani regretting what happened - she has a monologue - Sirji more than this happened. This coupled with Ani's performance post arriving at BH caused her to think Ani was just temporarily trying to make her feel good and as his wife, after her outburst at him post Rahul interference; and her dialog abt why he did not give her the respect of sindoor and consider her emotions as they were married. She figured he regretted that brief mad spell and realized he only loved Arshi and thats why her reaction to Ani's performance and acting came out so very bitterly to him the 2 times Ani tried to express his 1/2 heart wala love for her. J was convinced Ani actually loved Arshi and it was his sense of empathy that made him do things for Jhanak to make her feel good. His going on to marry Arshi after ghar ki lakshmi jaap and his refusal to beleive J; his care for Arshi to the extent he went randomly to the cops to ensure J got punished, all cemented for J that Ani never loved her. Hence she left for Mumbai. Ani's asking her to give up for Arshi further cements her understanding.

J never thought Ani will not believe her regarding baby; so that for her that was a big blow and she started seeing him as a cheat. Until her surgery - I don't think J really believed Ani loved her. Post surgery she realized it, but then sent him back for Arshi's sake, since by that time he was already committed.

It is my belief that had Ani come back from Kashmir, and publicly ousted Arshi from his life and waited to get Jhanak,s he would have said yes. But the action of saying no to Arshi she did not want tied to her. For J that decision had to be independent of his wanting J. But at that time Ani was not as much in love with J to be able to take a stand against Arshi and family. Until post Gujarat his heart is still divided in two.

Based on his reaction to Arshi's fall today, maybe there is hope this divided heart has now fully been given to J. Fingers crossed. Ani's reaction was very off his usual self. His concern for J was overshadowing any feeling for Arshi. Either he will go to BH and flip or maybe this time he is really done with Arshi. It will be good to understand where story is going with him saying he did not cheat, did he remember Arshi's manipulation of him for sex, or is there something else. Leena's story writing style is not to bring up things post partum so I'm a bit confused.

Either baby is gone or baby comes and Arshi has post partum and J raises the child. I dont see the story continuing with Ani Arshi and baby. With trp dropping if PH has any sense they will do a quick pull back on Ani Arshi and focus on Runak. Arshi will never let on her manipulation but Shristi may, lets see.

I was trying to recall, but could not till you noted it.

This jhimli side story is such a bore. Jhimli must be J2 in terms of stupidity, but unlike J she seems to have caught on faster.

Story has become so boring even with Runak lolipops. Comparing Runak holi dance to this, there used to be such a freshness then. Now story looks forced. Hiba and Krushal are doing their best and there are moments of good acting, but the vibe is so done. You can see neither is feeling it anymore. :( Not sure if they are so good that the they are portraying the stress and weight of the story at this point or if they are just done overall. Can you see what I mean Mayuri?

Very well said, that is how I see the story narration as well. Even post tumor surgery, J says anyways you always return to Arshi didi. She realizes his attraction/attachment for her hence she says again and again do you want me as "rak...". Some say she is mahan, but in my interpretation it is just a "niqab" or self-preservation, or survival technique, to the kinda love she feels for him. Eventually she came to a phase ke mere liye sirji ko hasil karna zaroori nahi hai, bas mujhe hai toh hai, no defence, no explanations, no guilt, no going back, no need for him to know either. (Ani monologue, kabhi mujh se nahi kaha lekin Arshi se kah rahi hai)

We all saw how many lies Ani told Arshi and his fam to keep J at BH. But could J see that? did she know it? It was mostly hidden from her, even at one point Choton could not understand, Ani had to spell it out to him.

Sorry to be so inhumane but who wants that baby? Ani's fam doesn't have money, Shrishti also doesn't have any fame anymore, toh kya hasil hona hai.

I was going to ask the same Q....why on earth would anyone be interested in kidnapping Arshi ka baby?

This spoiler seems hard to believe also cuz Leena apni laadli Arshi ko kabhi nahin maaregi....woh last episode tak yahin padi rahegi
