Talat- I should’ve posted last year smiley6

when it was his centenary - it slipped past me.

OPN - his centenary falls next year so I still have time smiley4

Talat - der se bhale durust sahi ..apne ko buss bahana chahiye 😀. Irrespective of centenary or not why not make quizzes and informative threads on such great and talented artists of India? If required I can be of help. Many artists can be covered not just limited to music- actors, writers, directors etc.

You have captured the soul of Mohammad Rafi’s songs in your beautiful words in this thread. ❤️ I don’t even remember how old I was when I first heard his songs, but I know it became a part of my life the moment I did. His songs have the power to brighten even the dullest days, and I honestly can’t think of a mood where his music doesn’t fit. There will never be another singer as versatile as Rafi saab.
