Irrespective of how the entire episode was, the first 1:30 minutes was beautifully done,

Shivani recognizing her Aaru in the darkness to switching on of the lights. The range of emotions of happiness, disbelief on seeing eachother for the first time was very well done by Rohit and Vibhuti. The entire song sequence without any dialogues, just expressions was amazingly done. I liked that part of the episode very much.

Rest I agree with all they should have spared more time on Shivani meeting Armaan, they could have shown so much there rather than rushing to the next part.

Leaving toxic criminal family members like KP and Vidya. Leaving the house and firm that belonged to KP who ruined Armaan and his mother's life, who ruined his happy family. It's a major development in Armaan's character. This season will be counted as best season of rishta if Poddars face downfall and KP-Vidya get punished for their misdeeds. Sometimes u need to choose yourself, above the destructive, controlling, manipulative decietful elders. Armaan had to take that decision not for Abhira, but for himself. Always wanted Armaan to leave PH for himself, now he is going to leave for himself. TRP viewers will love this track because of phenomenal performances and real progression.

All the nonsense of the writing and editing teams aside, Rohit Purohit and Vibhuti Thakur deserve a round of applause for bringing to life the heartbreak followed by joy of a mother-son duo who finally found their way to each other after thirty years of living a lie ! The last two episodes have been a rollercoaster of emotion and despite the poor writing and patchy editing, the actors have managed to melt our hearts and it is no mean feat!

Giving my thoughts on the Armaan- Shivani scene.

It was beautiful and emotional. I thought it was well done, but definitely should have been longer and cutting to the Goenkas in between was completely unnecessary... But let's focus on the good parts.

Shivani immediately called out Aaru in the dark. She felt his presence. A mother's intuition. And Armaan was so overwhelmed when meeting her. Touched her feet, he folded his hands as well. The guilt of not being there for his mother, even though he had no idea that she was alive. The guilt of not recognizing her earlier, even though he was a child when he last saw her. It's painful, but so layered. The hug was full of emotion and we felt their tears. A mother and son reunited today and we are so happy to see it.

Exactly! He's tried to leave the house for Abhira before, which is very sweet and romantic. But this? This is next level amazing, cuz it shows Armaan's growth as a person and the development of his self worth. Practice self love, Armaan. You're so much better than Kaveri and Vidya, and deserve much better.

The best part of their reunion for me was when Armaan just looked at his mom with those unbelieving eyes & Shivani showed seeing him when he was a baby to being such a big boy (I say boy as for her he is just that). It when someone you love has seen you after so long & cannot believe how beautifully they have grown. Then she puts her hand near his eyes & cups his face & neck to hug him, like she was feeling him for the first time as her "Aaru" while Armaan gave into that hug like a little boy who was feeling that warmth of his mom's embrace after so long that he had missed for all these years.

All 3 actors (even Sam) did brilliantly well to showcase the milan, even if the technical team didn't really support them too well

The makers clearly highlighted the contrast between VVV and Shivani today.

Armaan was feeling guilty for not finding his mother sooner, but instead of letting him dwell on the past or playing the victim, Shivani encouraged him to focus on the present and cherish the moment.

If it had been VVV, she would have given a lengthy eassy about everything she endured over the years and how deeply traumatized she was.
