Overall if you look at it, it’s like they cleared up the toxic elements. People saying Sadaf just needed to compromise and stay with her husband were proven wrong by her carrying on and starting a relationship which appeared much healthier with Bilal. Sadaf clarified that she realized someone wanting to die for you isn’t actually an expression of love. And although she realized Ammar was always faking suicide, she felt pity for him, moving on from the anger and wishing him well. But the problem is that they devoted episodes over episodes on it but the clarification was too subtle. Sadaf’s warped views on love needed a bit more resolution and the subtlety would have been fine had the focus on the toxic elements not been so front and center. If you’re going to be loud with that, be loud with the clarification too.

I think the ending montage was also used to prove all those toxic elements as wrong and it’s one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much. I honestly felt like they just both brought out the best in one another. I just felt some more dialogue was needed before all of that. Still I enjoyed the last episode and I think this show could have been something else if we got this sooner. I liked the beginning and I liked the last episode but that whole middle crap had to go.

The way the show ended actually proved that whatever had happened between ammar and sadaf was very problematic and toxic..that's what I have been saying since long time..but the biggest disappointment was lack of dialogues between lead characters. But tbh,the way this show ended actually was in sync from characters perspective. BA finally got his happy family dream come true..and a changed man from alcoholic,womanizer to a devoted husband and Sadaf finally moved on with a healthy loving relationship...both characters devoted to each other and has pure love for each other in their eyes. This actually puts out a good message about love and relationship...!! So its okay it ended on a good note..!!

This is problem with all pak dramas. They can serve us with lot of sadness in many episodes and can’t give some couple of episodes with good moments. There could have been dialogues sadaf conveying Bilal that she had developed feelings for him before but misjudged him and couldn’t identify the love she had developed towards him she just conveyed that in one dialogue like you feel pity for suicide act and you won’t fall in love. She realised at end the difference. There could have been dialogues of Bilal also to Sadaf about how much he loves her and what she means to him , which all anyway is depicted so beautifully in all the moments they showed, but you can still see haters who will bash for such lovely cute moments portrayed so beautifully in a decent way. I can watch the last episode again and again. It’s so much mesmerising. Drama was good till half when Sadaf married Ammar then the stretching deteriorated it and final episode was great. Happy that it ended well. But critics were anyway behind this drama from episode 1 as they can’t digest a woman taking some wrong step and use of alcohol that to when it was clearly shown as Haram with dialogues.

It’s fake. Trp of last episode isn’t still out. The average trp of last weeks two episode was 5.0, it was expected who would have watched such eisode on Shab-e-barat night Thursday. For same reasons Meem se Mohabbat avg trp for same week is 6.9. Last episode definitely will be a lot better. Even if track is good drama like SMD can never get same views as MSM or iqtidar as people love to watch such plots showing love couple from start to last and some scenes which creates excitement. If top actor like Wahaj or Danish for the example does something like iqtidar then it can fetch even still higher views and ratings.

I think HUM has given us classic shows like Zindagi Gulzaar hai, Yakeen Ka Safar, Bakthwar, ZPDD, TMNON , and now QEJ. Geo can never give such shows

But you know many viewers want that softy girl who is so innocent (chui mui type ) 😅 and a hard man combo and that’s why Danish plays same thing which is ok as if viewers themselves want then what can he do. When he does other that doesn’t work. So it will fetch high views and trp also will be better but yes maybe trps like Jane Nisar and not like some high trp like TB. But views are mostly guaranteed for such kind of drama. Critics will mostly make mimicry and fun which geo never cares.

Wednesday was cricket match so trps were affected across the board.

Ary reporting on trps is in general much more reliable than Hum reporting. Hum slices and dices data too much and too often compared to other channels. Like you will see in Hum's trp poster, they often only include selective ages, selective centers and sometimes, they don't even report for full timeslot but include an arbitrary cutoff, which inflates their trp #s. Ary trp reporting uses more comprehensive coverage of ages, centers and includes whole timeslot.
