Ab yeh Naya aaya hai...Levels of Nepo...kitne levels hai bhai? Koi yeh bhi bata de!!
Is Chunky Pandeys daughter as privileged as SRKs daughter? What about Pankaj Kapoors son? Character actors son or action directors son, who has more privilege? What about an actors nephew/niece? If Salman launches Shera's son is that considered Nepo, if so what level?
You get a big banner launch, you're privileged and an insider. You could be a rich businessmans son who hangs out with the Bandra crowd, like Ranveer Singh or Vedang Raina. You could be a politicians son like Ritesh Deshmukh or Veer Pahariya.
True Outsiders don't get launches anymore, unless their rich dad's sponsor films, they have to come through the TV route. Not even a Masaan. So all 3 are privileged.
Lol no, are we seriously trying to equate rs and vicky to rk who literally comes from a huge acting family
Rs did not use 'connections' to get his first role. Shanoo sharma is a casting director for yrf whose job is to spot new talent. She let ranveer know about the audition for BBB and he went through a multiple stage audition process. When he debuted nobody knew anything about him, we had no idea that Anil kapoor is his distant uncle, because again, he did not use them to get his first role and has never used them for any role. Even now in his low phase, are Anil kapoor or any of them helping him? No they are not. Plus his parents are not associated with the film industry in any way.
Plus look at what ranveer has been going through right now, movies being shelved, the negative media, this would never happen to a nepokid
Vicky also had to audition, his dad is the biggest action director in the industry and has worked with the biggest names and big films. But vicky still had to audition and earn his first role.
Compare that to rks debut, a slb film, promoted in the biggest way, I still remember the big event they had to introduce rk and sonam, the biggest stars supporting them. He was introduced as raj kapoors grandson. There is simply no comparison here
ALL same to same!

One would guess that Kat & DP would consider ALL of them to be the same!

Ranveer Singh stated in a video interview that once when he was a young boy of around 10 years of age, came somehow on the sets of film Keemat to watch Akshay Raveena song' shooting, Raveena saw Ranveer and badly shouted at him to ask the staff to get him out of the set.
He has then taken outside, was in tears due to her behavior, but a thoughtful Akshay came outside to console him without even knowing him, as he was just a child back than...he narrated this incident to praise Akshay as a good human.
Ranbir would have got a royal treatment, with snacks and people around him to entertain him if he would have visited that set even as a young boy of pre-teen.
Seriously?
Are we debating on this?
A nepo is not just about how you get your first break. It is also about the whole industry rallying behind them until they succeed, pushing their mistakes under the rug, highlighting and promoting their little little successes, providing a comfy cushion to failure and so much more. They also come with readymade fandoms.
Ranbir &Sonam failed to make any impact with their debut despite getting such a huge launchpad. Still their next 3 years were booked with big movies with some of the top directors. They kept on getting opportunities after opportunities to prove themselves. If Ranveer and Vicky didn’t make any impact on their debuts, you think they would be here? Even after making such huge imact, look at their follow up movies. Vicky was playing sidey roles while Ranveer was acting in multistarrers directed by nonamers for the next 2-3 years.
Ranbir delivered some of the worst disasters but kept getting offered movies from top directors like Hirani. Ranveer’s struggle is right in front of us now. Same with Vicky, look at how the guy hustles with various kind of roles even if they are not the main lead ones. He is smart that way, because he focuses only on the acting potential of his roles and doesn’t bother too much about playing the central characters. That’s why he was the only one who got applauded for his performance in that otherwise abysmal movie Dunki. His acting and the characters he plays with utmost sincerity take him forward….

Yeh ranveer went to a college with other normal people to meet Raveena and akshay while they were on a film shoot. They didn't get any special treatment , they met them like fans just like everybody else, he wasn't introduced as being anyone's son or nephew
