I think Haseeb and Maya were on board first and Haseeb thought they were making Mann Mayal 2.0. Maybe they werent able to find any top male star say yes to this drama and approached Wahaj. I also refuse to believe this was comeback project Kaddu had in mind for Wahaj. Kaddu probably gave Wahaj carte blanche to pick any project. Wahaj then decided to choose this because of friendship. Thats my theory. Not reading the script doesn't explain not knowing you are the 3rd lead who gets barely any character development.

Except TMNON,Qarz E Jaan what good content is available in PTV right now? Meem Se Mohabbat or Iqtidar or Aye Ishq E Junoon? Let's assume he is not offered hum projects because he has some problems with them..than what about other projects?? Others may be not troll worthy but are they really oh-so-wow content? He doesn't even believe staying away from acting for too long...so what should he do? Just wait for "the right script"? And when will it come? After 2 years,3 years? Yes SMD is trolled for its problematic writing..but is his character bad? NO..and screentime can't determine whether BA is a hero or not. His character has been shown very heroic and even with least screentime he had the most impactful scenes and dialogues..that itself says about the weightage of his character..its about the quality of scenes and not the quantity of scenes. I will remember each and every dialogue by Bilal Abdullah which he has said about his love..that's the impact he had left on me.

Do people have the right to feel bad about him signing SMD ? Than YES,OFCOURSE...but the way people are trolling him and lashing out at him and dictating his career choices..to wait for the right project.. That's totally UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS

Your next paycheck is determined by success of your last project. Yeh industry ka asool hai. Wahaj ka rate zaroor gira hoga after smd. Kaddu ne strategy lagayi TB2 ke budget ko control karne ke liye. Wahaj ko kam paise dene padenge toh budget manage karna zyada aasan hojaye🤡🤡🤡 We all know tb2 ki announcement hui thi par yumna or Wahaj ne tb2 sign nahi kya ab tak. It will happen. But when it will happen, we don't know.

I usually try to stay away from this thread but couldn't help it.
No one has misled the SMD audience more than Mayal Ali from start to end and to some extent Haseeb, geo and wahaj. she has been posting pictures with Wahaj only as if she is married to him in the drama and its their love story. Not even single post with Usama, who she's married to in the show and the whole story revolves around them. she sneaked in few pictures here and there. she didnt' even include him in the farewell post, most probably because they had a fall out as he deleted her pictures. but that was much later on.

also in the end, i have a feeling sadaf will stay with amaar and bilal will live with her memories.

My long essay was not in his support of his choices. , no one is more disappointed with Wahaj than me . His char in both Mein and SMD were such a bummers and add to it his acting has been so average. I so miss his subtle nuanced performance and just wish he drops this new OTT acting he has picked up in SMD. Hope his next with mahira irrespective of length he gets back in groove and HH is able to extract the best out of him .

Intriguing tidbit about SMD

Marie baji has not liked a single solo post by Maya on SMD. Whereas Marie baji had liked at least some solo posts on SMD by Hira, Wahaj, Amar and Shahvir. Usama has deleted his posts so I can't tell.

I wonder what's the tea.
