Ths main problem is in KRQ's script..any director cant save it if the script itself is weak.

.. . How can wahaj not know he is a side character when he shot for like a fraction of time compared to the rest of the cast? How did he, after shooting was completed allow the marketing of the show in his name?

I get he is very loyal to kaddu uncle but at least pick a script (even a shittty script) where you are at a bare minimum the lead actor.. He is behaving as if he is a newcomer with no power and not the breakout superstar of the year

.. What would have kaddu uncle even done had he refused him? Banned him from geo? There are so many actors that are boycotted from specific channels and they are all doing good... I'm just at a loss to understand wahaj's thinking at this point.. It's like he signs whatever without reading the script and without understanding his character..

Stars and popular actors reject scripts all the time w/o getting banned. SMD was rejected by both Obi and Talha and presumably other FLs. Saifee just said yesterday that Sajal didn't want to do TMNON. Ali Raza said he turned down 16 scripts. One luxury of being a star is that you can say no and pick and choose whats best. Wahaj himself said he did ott few years ago because nothing he was offered clicked. So he could say no then but not now? Let's stop infantilizing him and making him out to a be bechara who had no choice. When B listers and younger gen can get central protagonist roles and meaty cktrs in decent dramas (if not good then at least average dramas) then what excuse there is.

I think Haseeb and Maya were on board first and Haseeb thought they were making Mann Mayal 2.0. Maybe they werent able to find any top male star say yes to this drama and approached Wahaj. I also refuse to believe this was comeback project Kaddu had in mind for Wahaj. Kaddu probably gave Wahaj carte blanche to pick any project. Wahaj then decided to choose this because of friendship. Thats my theory. Not reading the script doesn't explain not knowing you are the 3rd lead who gets barely any character development.

Maya's screentime with Usama was 55% HIGHER than her screentime with Wahaj, yet Usama does not appear for even a second in this reel she posted of bts memories. Usama deleting posts must have soured his relationship with the team.

Eta: i dont even see saba hamid here though maya had a lot of scenes with her probably same as wahaj even.

Wahaj ko is project ke liye TB se double ya triple paycheck mil raha hoga isliye na nahi keh saka, aur upar se relation bhi accha hai Kaddu uncle se. After all actors do commercial dramas to earn money. Even though he is a supporting character he is still top billing in this drama.

IMO, it feels sad to see Wahaj getting wasted in this kind of drama...but TereBin 2 is coming so that would salvage all the damage..it will take time to come may be 1 yr or more...but for sure that would save him!!

I think most of the people are just overreacting regarding Wahaj's career.

Do you think kaddu wahaj ko dusre project main kam paise deta? Any geo project wahaj would have done at geo he would have been paid equally well. So why do a project where u r side cktr? There's a reason stars don't do side cktrs or don't sell their side cktrs as main leads. That's a short cut to ruining your stardom and payscale.
