During patch up, he clearly told he wants to be her and his mom. He just said he cannot imagine his life without her so obviously she wont take the other bullshit from him. Will confide him and get the truth. Most porbably Ar will tell her after the initial shock. After the car crash, he may tell her crying that he does not wanna choose this time and repeat the same mistake he did.
