Apparently above article states channel has given 8.15 slot to new gul show as revamp is not fetching trps so ghum's time reduced to 24 mins as it will air from 7.50 to 8.15 from tuesday

Now ipl coming & slot change will make ghum suffer more trp wise & channel is so brutal they might off air it until June if it doesnt fetch 2.5

That Unkil thing is a running joke in my circle. Like as soon as we crossed 29 year of age, we started calling ourselves unkill and auntie. Good thing is Neil's styling and attitude is also uncle like so calling Neil an 'Uncle' character would be suitable I guess. Bas ek 60s ka Black and White bgm bajaana aur start kar dein show me. I understand Bengali a bit as many of my family friends were Bengali. Also I was very much interested in Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, Sharat Chandra, Tagore's novels so I learnt Bengali a bit and started watching Bengali shows without subtitles on Sony Aath during school and college days.

Param played a high school guy in Parvarish when I was in school, he played an Engineering student in Sadda Haq when I was in Engineering, and now when I am in 30s, he's playing an uncle kind of guy. So even when one is not a fan, thoda vo factor ho jaata hai ki an actor you've been watching since school days is returning on screen and uska youth show star se uncle type journey feels relatable. Vaise bhi us time ke kai actresses and actors have not been seen on screen since long, so koi bhi dikh jaata hai, to I get hyped up.

all of them are doing white collar jobs so they might earn up 2-2.5 lakh in a month and neil might have the highest income considering he is a doctor and also does surgeries

That's so cool! Do you read their novels in English? You can read Satyajit Roy's books as well if you want. Some of his stories are available in English. Satyajit Roy is my favourite author.

Oh. You're quite young then. I used to watch Parvarish during school days and Param had a very small character there. Tab naam nahi pata tha. Then watched him in Sadda Haq and he was quite a craze among girls in Engineering college. Though I loathed that show because they showed Engineering studies in the most unrealistic way possible. Then I saw him in Ghulaam which I started watching for Vikas Manaktala and Niti Taylor and realised he was a good actor. Then I watched Haiwan's all episodes and became a fan of his character in the show. Then I didn't watch Ishq Pe Zor Nahi because I don't like Rich, brooding angry young men + feisty female lead enemies to lovers story. Then I watched Ghum's trailer and the trailer had that late 2000s ITV feel so started watching it.
