Make no mistake Neil is the ML. This was the actual first week of the show and they're still showing the relations and dynamics with ML family and FL two families. So once Teju & Neil are married and the truth is out about Mohit two wives the drama will start and more focus on Neil family

Tbh I think the production also knows that most of the people are watching for the ML so while establishing the story they put 1-2 mins scene as a lollipop for the audience
