I haven't watched Phagun Bou or any other Star Jalsa shows specially Leena's shows but some of my friends used to bash Oindrila's character every day ..

I don't watch Bengali shows. Bengali shows mein wo baat nahi hota hai. But I watched a few episodes of Phagun Bou recently out of curiosity. Are you Bengali? I'm Bengali.

Episode on 7th Feb :

Episode starts with Teju pleading with her parents for permission to travel to Nagpur. Mohit and Mukta initially hesitate but eventually agree, setting a strict condition for her to return home by 9 PM. Teju, excited and relieved, agrees to their terms, promising to abide by their curfew. As Teju sets off in an auto, she makes a call to her friend Sammy, eager to share her excitement. However, Sammy answers groggily and admits she just woke up. She apologizes, explaining that she won’t be able to accompany Teju to Nagpur. Disappointed but not defeated, Teju teases Sammy about her laziness. Sammy, ever the troublemaker, tells Teju to go alone and jokingly suggests blaming her if Teju’s parents find out. Teju rolls her eyes but decides to proceed with the plan. Meanwhile, Rituraj is seen getting ready for an important meeting with Teju. His friends Amai, Nandini, Neil, and Prachi gather around him, congratulating him on his upcoming U.S. performance. Rituraj thanks them, but their attention soon shifts to his unusually polished appearance. Sensing something special, Amai teases him about meeting a girl. The group speculates whether it could be the mysterious girl from Trimbak. Nandini dismisses the idea, finding it improbable that anyone would travel that far just for Rituraj. Despite their playful banter, Rituraj remains tight-lipped but clearly amused. Amai nudges him further by teasing him about marriage. Rituraj, firm in his stance, declares that he has no intention of getting married, making a witty remark about the matter. Neil jokingly suggests that perhaps he avoids marriage to maintain the freedom to meet his fans. Rituraj laughs, agreeing in jest before departing to meet Teju. Teju arrives at the restaurant, scanning the tables nervously. She settles at a spot and waits for Rituraj. He soon joins her, his demeanor warm and welcoming. Concerned, he asks if she faced any trouble reaching Nagpur. Teju vents about Sammy’s irresponsibility, recounting how she had to make the trip alone. Her guilt over lying to her family surfaces, but Rituraj reassures her. He shares a philosophical perspective, stating that travel is the best teacher and encourages her to embrace new experiences. Teju, amused by his wisdom, playfully asks him to share this philosophy with her mother. Rituraj agrees with a chuckle.

Back at the family home, Mohit’s mother questions Satish about Aditi’s whereabouts. Satish informs her that Aditi has gone out to play with the kids. However, Satish’s frustration soon spills out as he complains about Aditi’s reluctance to marry, which he believes is hindering his daughter Juhi’s prospects. Lakshmi, unimpressed by his outdated mindset, challenges him. She questions whether he intends to keep Juhi unmarried forever if Aditi remains single. Mohit’s mother insists that Aditi’s marriage must happen first, fearing societal judgment. Juhi, mature beyond her years, assures Satish that her studies take precedence over marriage. Lakshmi firmly criticizes the regressive mentality, advocating for Juhi’s independence.

The tension simmers until Aditi returns home, sensing the charged atmosphere. Meanwhile, the conversation between Teju and Rituraj deepens. Rituraj shares his admiration for Teju’s boldness and resilience, admitting that he has become her fan. Their connection grows stronger, hinting at a blossoming romance.

Precap :

Rituraj confesses his feelings for Teju, setting the stage for emotional revelations. Later that night, Teju waits anxiously for transport. Her unease grows as she notices a goon staring at her with malicious intent. Just as fear begins to take hold, Neel arrives like a knight in shining armor. Sensing her distress, he offers her a lift, bringing a sense of relief.

Yeh I'm Bengali too..

And you're right most of the Bengali shows are too much.. There are few exceptions but sooner or later they get ruined too be it Bengali or Hindi

Woahhh - so yet again someone is getting married because their apne is death bad

Ngl I actually feel bad for the girl. No one should have to get married against their wishes. :/

Honestly if they go with this concept I would have my sympathies with the girl as well

Maybe they saw the 1.8 trp and had become really desperate to bring the marriage track because in the og they got married around episodes 70-80
