My favourite trope is exactly what you described. Guy trying to distance himself as he feels his girl is in love with someone else, while girl is super confused & tries to come closer, only to have a push & pull.

Armaan will dream of RK and Abhira as per the IF article ..but the twist is Shivani will also be in the dream ..she will be admiring them from a distance and saying “aur paas aur paas” like SRK tells Madhuri in DTPH …when it is revealed that Shivani is actually his biological mother, Armaan will fall at her feet and ask her to please stay with RK ..and that’s how Bhavna can ruin the Shivani track too
