I am not sure if feedback gets to him. After Mein's feedback, how he picked SMD is beyond me. 70% of his solos are more interested in Maya, Mahaj, his dogs, his family than Wahaj's own career and what's best for it. Do you think if Bilal had been in such a disastrous and mocked project, his fans would be asking that he be repeated with the same actress? Hell, no. They never would. When you are surrounded by people like this, I don't think feedback reaches you.

KDH ladies have said multiple times that a project like this affects careers. When your project doesnt work or the project is such a disaster, it affects actors' credibility, the type of projects they are considered for, but also their ad rates. Such actors are not as attractive to advertisers anymore. Sadia said quite harshly ke stardom sustain karne ke liye acting projects have to work.

P.S. I have been personally very disappointed in Maya's acting in SMD and I would want to see Wahaj work with better calibre actresses. And no more romances for a while please.

Wahaj should have logically escaped criticism bec his is essentially a guest appearance... But.. But.. But... Since this was heavily promoted as his project, this is going to affect him, his stardom esp after his last 2 weak shows... He is going to be called a one hit wonder

Doesn’t matter what these fans think. Read the comments under that instagram post to see how much Mahaj are really liked as a pair .

Critically, this is a flop drama, but financially this is not a flop on YT, and its YT views compensate for its average TRPs, so overall SMD is a hit drama. People are expecting too much from Wahaj; he is very popular, but he can't deliver Tere Bin-type views on every drama
