Exactly they even ruined Lakshmi Narayan show.

They changed stuff to fit today’s society.

They ruined too many things.

The strong personalities of Shri Ram and Mata Sita , Lakshmanji shown in valmiki Ramayan is beautifully written in a 3rd person perspective.

In valmiki Ramayan when Shri Ram asked for Agni Pariksha after yuddh and said she can go anywhere she wants to . She gets so mad.

Few scenes till Yuddh in this versions followed Valmiki Ramayan. Like viradh vadh.

I have not watched today’s episode yet.

They used to follow VR untill Sundar Kand ( messed up Lakshman's characterization). From Yuddh Kand unwards they started showing unnecessary stuffs but still somewhat bearable but after Lav Kush birth everything was imaginary. They added so much unwanted fictional stuff.

Ravan did not love his sister. He only decided to to kidnap Sita when his sister narrated how beautiful Sita is.

He was lusting after maa sita

main story line followed from beginning

Yes followed all the bal, Ayodhya , van parts

Especially how they showed emotional Ram asking where his sita is to the trees as written in Valmiki Ramayan.
but the growth of Lakshmanji and way he handled Shri Ram at this part was not shown .

Basant was perfect to portray that Lakshmanji traits.
