I don't think they are related to previous gen they are completely new characters

FL character seems like OG PL .. already irritating. ML looks alright.. nothing special as of now. Family dynamics look good. No one seems extremely toxic like the Bhosles😅.. Mohit's first wife frustration is understandable given that he is maintaining another whole family in secret.

If they are all new characters not related to previous gens lets see how audience accepts it. They didn't want to take this as a spin off separately since Ghum tag has already loyal viewers.
