still doesnt take anything away from Arijit's legacy, With or without competition, to deny his popularity or on ground impact, is foolish. Musicality always wins..Sonu is technically a far superior singer than most..but Arijit also has something very earthy about his voice..that connected with millions..Atif's voice is not my most favourite voice anyway..so it doesnt really matter to me..There are better voices like Farhan Saeed, Ali Azmat, Junaid Jamshed, Sahir Ali Bagga, Soch band and all even in Pak music industry than Atif..Atif and that annoying Asim Azhar is another one..overhyped!
in time where arijit was made to sign those illegal contracts in 2013 forcefully which senior singers were protesting agaisnt ... that was bound to happen .... luck also plays vital role .... arijit is talented but his era was created by those corporates who banned other artist at one point .....impact automatically became less important when others are banned ...... what happened to arijit was bound to happen corporate were promoting him ...... arijit was sub servant to music companies .... even armaan malik or i think it was amal malik recently told that by the time i got issue with music pattren in india i became vocal against companies and my work got reduced ..... arijit was spinless and was sub servant to companies and was a yes man to each call of music companies thats how he kept on getting best songs through out competition less era of him......
Sonu back in 2013 or 14 interview said regarding singers royalty and respect .... if they do not respect me how would they be treating a new commer like arijit and other people who probably hasnt seen as much sucess as of now they are just budding talent doing so well right now ...
