It’s high time we reach our girls that that’s not needed. You can love selflessly where you are treated with respect . Where there is no respect there is no love. And where there is no love - there is no point is being selfless and forgiving - leave those roles to gods n angels. We’re human.
Living in a country where so many people have fought n fought for some semblance of equality these sort of scenes send the wrong message that this is how an ideal daughter/wife must be. And no it’s not!! its just so painful to watch this kind of messaging being sent out. 😔
