Only Sadqay Tumhare is based on his life. Rest he writes from scenarios he has seen in real life.
No I get it, the promotions and SM content keep trying to focus on Wahaj and Maya. What they were showing was not actually happening. Those of us watching are aware that’s not what’s happening though. I just meant that the trailers indicated a one-sided love so that’s what I was prepared for. I definitely expected more scenes of them together and I certainly wasn’t prepared for what they served us with post wedding. I feel the audience were more cheated by the limited screen time given to Wahaj. Also the trailers seemed to focus on him heavily and he just disappeared for episodes. if you look at the tere bin PS , they went with the theme of the show, both looking angry, her grabbing his shirt , him holding her wrist. While with SMD PS , all are close up, romantic, like they are deeply in love. PS doesn't go with theme of the show. They are all misleading. I mean she's getting married to amaar but her ps is with bilal ? How does that make sense? All promotion ps of sadaf's wedding festivities are with bilal which were posted everywhere, I think very few pictures were posted with amaar that too tucked away in between some slides.

IDK what to say but the overall execution of the script is so terrible that the love story part goes above the head.. I mean Sadaf falling for Bilal should have been a very important point and now it is incorporated in a way everyone thinks its a rebound. No one is able to relate to Sadaf...the script has so much flaws and absurdities which Haseeb could have saved but instead he made it more unbearable. Now even if Bilal-Sadaf story starts,I dont think anyone will be able to relate...at the end of the day,the hard work is all wasted only..!!
Yeah I know he isn’t happy with both directors but I was just responding to how much of the script Haseeb changed. Did he accuse him of this or just ruining it by dragging it? He’s hating on him anyway so he should have just gone ahead and changed some of the dialogue…maybe some of the crass language which feels out of character for some of them.Originally posted by: hypnotoad

I feel this might be part of the story. It isn’t just the audience interrupting it this way but Bilal has his suspicions as well. It’s why he isn’t reciprocating. I agree with SH’s review . No one has a problem with Sadaf divorcing Ammar but the way she is being so desperate to get back with Bilal Abdullah, a guy she herself rejected is a case of ‘ thooka hua ko chatna’ .

Sometimes I feel Haseeb himself failed to understand KRQ’s writing. If anyone has watched his previous shows, they should know that KRQ doesn’t write masala romance such as 30 sec eyelocks and leads staring at each other with loud background music at the background. These are ALL Haseeb’s additions to drag the show.
I am not sure those phone conversations with Bilal were supposed to be in good or bad light. Even now he is misleading audience cos Bilal came to play table tennis with Zaviyar, not meet Sadaf.
@bold: pretty sure they showed bilal in good light and sadaf in bad light.
Bilal is not flawless either . We saw that he has the same regressive thoughts as Farzana and Hamsha.
but KRQ is showing bilal and farzana in postitive way and sadaf in cringe manner.
actually KRQ's thoughts are like this only.
