Kaveri said when Madhav got shot and he prevented Abhira from donating blood that "tumhari wajah se tumari maa mari, iss ladki ki maa mari, and abhi madhav ki maut ki zimedar bhi tum hongey" something along these lines. BUT, Kaveri is obviously not a reliable narrator and just wanted to guilt trip armaan. Though this means that Armaan believes somehow his mother died due to him.
