Abhir, I feel, is neither a strong nor a rational character for me. If he was truly concerned about his sister, he would never have revealed the truth about the baby to Abhira in that manner.
In this present case, I do understand that he was a victim in this situation and had the right to decide whether to pursue an out-of-court settlement or not. However, any brother (purely speaking from the perspective of a brotherly relationship), mai justice ki baat hi nhi kar rahi, would never have proceeded with this case, knowing that it would forever change the relationship between the Goenkas and the Poddars. Even if he hates Armaan, Ruhi is still part of the equation. Why didn’t he think about her and Poddars bond, and how this case will effect that?
Even if he disliked Ar ( but in upcoming bts and in ivs it is mentioned his opinion had changed), he had seen how Ab inspite of signing the dp was looking to reconcile with Ar.. I was not watching the earlier episodes, but my understanding is that in the aired episodes he didn't think about how Ab's relationship with Ar will be completely broken after the case or told her that she need not be directly involved in the case(maybe because of his mental situation post the accident). And even post the verdict, I didn't see the understanding regarding Abhira's conflict. This would have maybe still be ok if Abhir is younger to Ab. But he is good years elder and that's my issue with their dynamic. While the sibling chemistry is fine, Neither the actor nor the character look the elder brother to Ab
