Yes, firstly the director tried to undo the damage done to the writer's ego by Ali and Anmol by saying that they have written a great story. They only changed few dialogues and not the entire story.

Secondly he said Shanno is a good man and is deeply in love with Mehru. He will face terrible consequences for his actions. Everyone will pay for their sins and Mehru will be in a win-win situation. He called Rafay-Urooj parallel leads. MehShah will get closer in upcoming episodes.

Coming to the wedding, yes the writer can go as low as making Shanno marry Amal. But I feel they won't, since they didn't go as low to show Shanno consummating his relationship with Mehru and then betraying her the next day when he had the chance. Also, Ali shared next week's wedding promo(and we know he is the biggest Shanno-Amal hater) when since last few weeks he has hardly shared any Iqtidar related post.

Zain definitely seems to have the hots for Mehru. Their interactions have so much spark. I wouldn't mind him becoming obsessed for her and going against Shanno and Saman(let them face the monster they created) and ultimately meeting his end.

Muskan is an idiot and will probably be the reason for his end.

It would be so much more interesting of zain actually gets obsessed with mehru. Both brothers obsessed with the same girl but in different ways. Naagin saman will get a huge blow with it as well. It will also makes sense. Even if naagin is evil she is a strong independent woman and it's very much possible that sons of women like her falls for strong willed girls.

With Ali, for all we know he might have shared it as a condolence to shanno's character. Like a last ritual and shanno will be officially dead to him . He is crazy so don't count on his antiques.

It is a beautifull coincidence that Anmol and Fahim share the same day of birth.

Those ppl must be crew of Iqtidar, not actors. Anmol shoots many scenes alone. She is always standing far away from other characters.

But Burney did say that Shanno will wake up to his love in the coming episodes and MehShah will get closer...I don't see that happening unless Shanno somehow proves his love to Mehru....

Till now all Mehru knows is that she affects him and he doesn't care about Amal... she's not likely to get close to him unless he does something solid...that rain scene will also happen btw

Might have a day or two difference and they had the shooting only on anmol's bday.

So ali wished anmol early in the morning and didn't care to wish his director? . Seems like fahim bhai ain't pretty enough for ali to take some efforts

Rain scene will happen but most probably in shanno's dreams.

My expectations from this drama is on the negative lines now. It's not even zero .

My thoughts exactly!!!But if he didn't do it with Mehru...he won't do it with Amal also. (Even if he tries, he'll end up calling her Mehru)

Shanno is hopeless. And our pious and pakeezah Mehru has left everything in Allah's hands, Who(as per script) will make everyone pay including Shanno(if he ends up in jail for abetting Amal's suicide, after finally rejecting Amal and owning up his love and spending some time with Mehru that'll be apt). Saman Shah will be accused of the same thing but she'll die of shock.

You know there is one Amal scene where she is depressed and sick and refuses to go to the doctor because she's waiting for Shahnawaz to pick her up.Has that scene happened?

I would've loved Mehru to go all Gone Girl on the entire Shah family 🤯

They're already into 35 episodes..Anmol and Ali were saying it won't stretch to 60 episodes. So they'll need to cover Mehshah love, confession and closeness, everybody's makafat-e-amal and Mehru's win-win in the next 20 episodes

In the interview, Burney praised Ali but before that when he was talking of stars of today....he mentioned actors after two hits thinking they're IT and wanting to work only certain number of days and ppl in the comments section were wondering if he was shading Ali

On twitter they were saying the rain scene was Shahno's dream. He will say Qubool hai and then come home and give lovelorn looks to Mehru. At this point I just want him to confess his love to Mehru and in that instant Mehru drops the khula papers on his face and say toodles goodbye. By then I hope both Zain and Amal are dead, so maa beta can look at each other's face for the rest of their lives.

I definitely feel Shahno-Amal wedding will happen because otherwise how will they drag it to 50 episodes?
