Pete's Hilarious Adventures: CID Fan, Ramayan Threadmaker, and Memory Lapse Extraordinaire
Pete was a dedicated member of India Forums, known for his undying love for CID. Every time ACP Pradyuman dramatically exclaimed, "Daya, darwaza tod do!" Pete's heart soared with joy. He considered himself the unofficial president of the CID fan club, creating thread after thread analyzing every episode.
But here’s the twist: Pete also had an inexplicable habit of making threads in the Shrimad Ramayan section—a show he used to watch religiously but had stopped months ago. This quirk baffled the forum members, but Pete had no idea he was doing it.
One day, Pete created an impassioned post in the Shrimad Ramayan section titled:
“Did Daya Ever Break a Door That Was Unnecessary?”
The Ramayan fans were bewildered. The first comment read:
"Um, Pete... are you lost? What does Daya breaking doors have to do with Lord Ram?"
Pete replied, completely unaware:
"Everything! If Daya lived in the Ramayan era, don't you think he'd have been useful during the Vanvaas? He could’ve found Sita in no time by breaking down every suspicious hut!"
The thread blew up with a mix of confusion and hilarity. Some members even joined in:
"True, Pete! Maybe Ravana wouldn’t have dared to kidnap Sita if he knew Daya was around!"
But Pete didn’t stop there. The next week, he started another thread in the Shrimad Ramayan section:
“CID vs. Vanar Sena: Who Would Solve the Case Faster?”
The thread was peak Pete—completely off-topic but oddly entertaining. One comment sarcastically said, “Pete, this isn’t the CID section. Maybe take a break?” Pete responded earnestly:
“Break? Like an intermission? Good idea! I’ll grab chai and be back!”
One day, while browsing the Shrimad Ramayan threads, Pete stumbled upon his own post titled:
“Why Ramayan Needs a Crossover with CID.”
Pete scratched his head. “When did I write this?” He clicked on it, reading his own comment:
“Just imagine: ACP Pradyuman questioning Lakshman about why he left Sita alone. Iconic!”
Pete laughed out loud. “Man, whoever wrote this is brilliant!”
A forum member replied almost instantly:
“Pete, it’s you. You wrote this two days ago.”
Pete was stunned. “Wait... I did? Maybe I’m working undercover and forgot.”
Eventually, Pete’s antics became a running joke on the forums. Anytime someone made a mistake, they'd say, "Oops, I pulled a Pete!" Despite his forgetfulness, Pete's threads became legendary. His accidental Ramayan posts were turned into memes, and his love for CID remained unmatched.
Pete might have forgotten half the things he did, but to the India Forums community, he was unforgettable.
