Well not always. I recently saw a case in my known circle where the sasuma was sent to jail coz she murdered her elder DIL in her sleep coz usne uske bete ko usse door karke usse US lekar gayi thi. Younger DIL like Ruhi stuck with her husband & left the country while MIL went to jail (still is as per my knowledge since last 2 years)

True. I have had my frustrating moments with mine, but she has also really supported me through hell & fought with my husband for me. But she also annoys me as well, so we have the typical saas bahu rishta

If (hypothetically) the sasu ma harms my family member then will definitely do the honour

My mom in law lives 800 km away… but apart from her high pitched voice that irritates me..she’s fairly ok.. Tbh in all the years I’ve been married there has only been like 3 things that she said that really irritated me…😂..so I won’t send the woman to jail for that 😂

Agar mai abhira ki jagah hoti toh apne bhai ke liye insaaf chahti , court case bhi hone deti lekin maayka sasural dono mai se kisi bhi party ki khud lawyer nahi banti, maayka/sasural dono ko bolti ki kisi baharwale lawyer ko hire kar lo apne apne case ke liye kyunki market mai hum ek he best ho apne profession mai aisa nahi hota aur inn sab mai husband-wife rishta divorce ki taraf le jana pagalpanti hai.

If this situation happens in real, most of the times girls family will supress girls voice and tell her Bhai ki tho life kharab hi ho gayi , tu apni marriage life mat Kar and the girl will be forced to live in relationship where everyday she is abused by in laws because of society pressure.

There might be some families who will support her and then the girl will forever be with Maayka and will never go back demanding big alimony for divorce, case and all

Unfortunately, That is the reality. Only few cases there will be understanding between couples but only if they have kids for the betterment of them.

I'm a very lucky my sasu ma isn't a criminal or ever don't something that warrant arrest. That woman is one of the sweetest but busy body, which isn't illegal

That doesn't mean it don't happen some of us are just fortunate.

Mine is a bit of a nag and busy body that's all ..she is too lazy and did not look after me despite my issues in pregnancy..so my bro took me back to amma ...my older bro kinda dislikes her but iv respectful my younger bro has a great equation and even she loves him

but otherwise she is not bad ..just lazy and gossipy ...if she over nags my husband does intervenes ...even father in law ....my father in law loves my food 😂..he is like beta u are my annapurna
