Definitely. Would love to see second season of Gentleman. Gentleman had the most interesting characters and storyline amongst all PTV dramas in 2024.
Giving credit to male actors when she was the one who was female lead in both. Literally 2015-2019 five years was maya ali time she was the most popular actress at that time with big brands , hit tv shows hit movies, utitlising her fame for fundraising campaigns of shanut khanum and other charities from 2016.
Use and throw is done by Faiza saqlain. The only reason she got famous is because maya was wearing her brand every where and she was tagging along with her and became close friend with her. The moment maya wanted to start her own brand madam Faiza ko aag lagi hai. Kaunsa business tricks Faiza taught which she herself never has because her dresses are atrocious.
Why is Mehwish celebrating her birthday with Chunky & Bhavana?
Why do they all look like kids forced to a playdate by their moms?

I'm a fan of incredible scripts, character arcs, storytelling, acting and cinematography. I do enjoy large portions of work done by actors like Sania Saeed, Noman, Bilal, Saba and many other smaller theater actors.
Also, shipping is not my thing. I could never run a fp. I could join in for a laugh while the drama is on air but shipping restricts and forces loyalty. I'd end up having to defend TB, GM or SMD solely because of ships and actors. You then get canceled by the herd that you're part of for saying any opinion that differs from that cult. And not to mention how toxic shipping is. I'm sure we all remember the beginning and ending of Sahad. I'm wary of shippers and fps. Many of them give an absolute Amber Heard level of unkindness at times. They'll dox you, your family, your kids, your elderly and anything that sticks. This happens when one spends a lot of time and energy on things and people that don't matter IRL.
I'd watch a good Yumhaj drama with a good script. I'd watch any good script with good actors. Since you talked about only males getting credit. It is not about gender. Hania seems to throw the victim card and accuse people of false a**ault for not showing up on time or showing any professionalism. Look up the IV where Rani and Kareena had with Aamir where these ladies are complaining about the pay gap. He says that, unfortunately, when a female isn't able to fill the hall, that creates that gap. It's really sad and I hope that mentality changes. Look at Nayab. It was a female-oriented film that didn't do well at the BO. True feminism would be to support against any hara**ment or casting couch and general safety.
Maya's movies had leads that brought in the majority. And with regard to her acting, it is below mediocre and that's a fact shared by the majority. She did great commercially with brands and some projects during the 2016-19 and that was deserved. But definitely her acting has always been an issue. The neutrals have nothing to gain. She is beautiful and looks fabulous on the big screen. I enjoyed Aunn Zara, Diyar e dil and mera naam yousuf hai. They, too, were carried by a strong script and/or other actors. She was okay in them. Can she act? H*ll, no. Yes, the script is bad in SMD, but acting has never been her strong suit and a director like that didn't help. Both of them got handed a bad script and defended and insulted fans like it was a masterpiece.
I'm not here 24/7 365 days. I only come once in a while and do not know the dynamics well. I only ever responded to the ridiculous age shaming and attacking in herds and the unfair consequences even after reporting them.
Faiza Saqlain is a household designer and is doing fine. Designers do not need these actors, they need designers to provide them with tags for free.
I don't know what exactly a sh*t post is, but I do know that 10 threads full of wishful thinking that somehow SMD turned into the masterpiece it was supposed to be, when the direction, script, and acting are not only a mess but a joke. Then pages upon pages labeling the neutrals and all the reviewers as haters speak of frustration with a disappointing product and that is understandable to a certain point. People like Amna from SH are biased and have an elite mentality. That's true, and they say things for views at times, but she has been a journalist for 30 years and is talented and way more talented than many people I have come across.
We watch Nolan's and Scorsese's work). Now I think that is something to reflect on.

First of all sorry for interruption but I just want to add some points here.
Faiza saqlain became a brand when she collaborate with Maya. Maya literally wear her clothes everywhere and promote it. If her motive always was to ditch her and get the idea about designing and all the she will not posts about them I can clearly remember a long post where she appreciate Faiza and her husband to support her in tough times all. It's not like she ditched her. They both get benefits from that friendship. We don't know what happened at the back.
And about the movie male leads that brought majority isn't 100% correct as well.we can say this about teefa where Ali was bigger star and brought more audience but that was also Maya's peak time after manmayal. Ali was accused of harassment right before the movie release. And her second movie was with sherry where she was definitely a bigger star coming with superhit teefa. Sherry did three to four movies and none of them was superhit. Ho maam Jahan was average. Then one of his movie was with Mahira and amna which was flopped and project ghazi was flopped as well. Paray hut love was his only movie whiçh was hit.
