We can hope for the story to move toward a rational and logical ending... this way, the series team can get out with less damage. This situation is like reading a newly released book... the author and the publisher can no longer make changes to the book.
they could have easily fixed the pace and editing of the show since criticisms started. the long-pauses, unnecessary voiceovers and repititions, filler shots / scenes, zabardasti ka suspense and horror music, filters, editing out words like saali, laundiya - these were very much fixable in edit. so the team had plenty of opportunity to salvage the product and some of their reputation 20 episodes ago, but refused to take it.
in today's episode, we get 1m44s of Ammar entering the house, taking shoes off, climbing stairs, entering bedroom, sitting on bed before he said Sadaf's name. We got 35 seconds of Sadaf's reaction of heavy breathing after Ammar yells Sadaf at her. After the slap, Sadaf cries and then Ammar walks away. But instead of scene ending there, we get additional 2m10s of Sadaf crying silently making weird distortive faces and Bilal looking broody in bed. So much of this unnecessary shots that prolonged the scenes, slowed the pace and diluted the impact could have been removed in edit. not salvaging the product even tho they had the time to do so is on the team.
