Like I said they complicated a simple script trying to make it something else - my guess they were aiming SMD to be another MPTH .

You can downplay it all you like but SMD is not an average bad or flop show. It's an epic disaster. Dau kori ki izzat nahi rahi hai. Wahaj's hype post-TB was being compared to Fawad's hype post-Humsafar. He shot to the same tier as Danish and Feroze all of a sudden. Now he's at the level of an Imran Ashraf. All in a span of 1.5 years. Hype toh kam hui magar credibility or izzat ka jo falooda bana uska kya. AAA lost hype after PZ but at least no one doubts his cred as an act. This is even worse carer management than Affan Waheed. Sure Wahaj can get another hit tomorrow but the shine's off.

If he had bothered to read the script he would have known how much sceentime BA had. or that BA barely gets any depth, dimensions and independent tracks in the writing. i COUNTED and at least one third of Wahaj scenes so far are filler scenes with him looking broody and sad but which has no connect to scene before of after. Same 2-3 expressions be it khambe se latakte huey, fondling lamps, staring into fireplaces, lying on various sofas, piano play karte huey, leaning against walls and windows, stumbling around, sitting by the pool, in the garden, on the table, on the couch, on the bed. dressed in various nightsuits and robes. no dialogue. same 2-3 expressions. scenes which are randomly inserted to pad up ss and do not drive the plot. even with this pad up, his screentime feels less. picking scripts because you get 3-4 scenes in which to perform is a terrible selection criteria.

What did I say before... Sadaf will go to Bilal whenever she gets the chance... In the past, Bilal and Sadaf’s confidant was Hamsha... now the two of them will become confidants... Hamsha will no longer be able to manipulate them... Even though Farzana tries to guide Sadaf to continue her marriage, Hamsha and Dania will manipulate Amaar. Amaar will completely lose control and resort to all kinds of disgusting ways, including suicide... this will end their marriage.

Sorry but TB itself is a horrible show but it resembled itv so got an insane hype. But true, all the hype wasted on shows that neither had a good plot nor the scope to perform. It’s been getting worse.

Not at all downplaying SMD , I stopped watching it . I only said wahaj being good actor will bounce back and needs one good show.

as an actor he will bounce back, but as a star, he will not reach that peak again. i doubt anyone would call him next fawad ever again even if he gives another big hit.

I think in the trailer, Bilal says to Sadaf... 'I don't look at what I've gained in life, I look at what I've lost.' He supports this statement with an emotional speech (about his parents' relationship), making Sadaf think more deeply and emotionally. Later, Sadaf cries... she explains what happened to Bilal... but she will never say that Amaar has been violent; she has already heard this from Zaviyar.
