If second citizen treatment continues with characters other than Daya's, I don't know how long the show will last. The nostalgia factor won't work beyond a couple of months at most. They think that Daya is the crowd puller and also has this Singham factor, but in reality, a Daya alone cannot run the franchise. Neither he is a great actor who could give memorable performances. The show is about ACP, Abhijeet and Daya. It will die on its own bum if only one of them is given importance. What a shame, really! Also, in montages, Daya is either in the middle, or has a bigger image than the other two. And Abhijeet, especially, is just merely there, and no more appears to be the right hand man of ACP, in trailers. The recent trailer for Episode 5 again is so freaking Daya heavy.

I haven't watched the new season yet, and this unfair treatment to the character of Abhijeet is discouraging me to not to as I would not want a good memory of a good TV show (before 2014)to turn sour.

So how was the episode? Is it worth watching?

The gems:

1. Bringing up Freddy in the episode. Thank you. For a few moments, just remembering Freddy was nice. And the moments you chose especially that sweet smile at the end...just thank you.
2. Dhenchu's return. Yeah I never really liked the nonsense, but what was unnecessary in season 1 is kind of nostalgic for season 2. Just don't make him a regular appearance.

The issues/questions:

1. How does Dr. Yuvaan have the file so ready and easily accessible if Amisha hasn't been to his clinic in 6 months to a year? Arre thoda bahut toh realism dekhate. Kum se kum you should have shown him checking some box or the bottom shelf of a bookcase or something. And first and foremost - paper file? REALLY? In today's day and age when everything is on the cloud?
2. Don't twins have the same DNA? So technically whatever Dr. Salunkhe found is null and void because he couldn't tell Amisha and Sheena's DNA separately anyways.
3. The story seemed to be all over the place. And exactly how old is Dr. Yuvaan that he dealt with a kid Amisha?

The good:

1. The actress playing Avni is improving every episode and I liked that they showed more about her today.
2. The actress who playing Amisha/Sheena did a very good job. Usually the actors they get for characters are really bad, but this actress did a splendid job throughout.
3. Purvi, Pankaj, and Daya immediately going to investigate based on one phone call from Avni. I liked that as well because it shows that the officers all trust each other and react immediately to help each other out.
4. While a little harsh, I like how ACP sir didn't try to tell Avni that it wasn't her fault or anything, but just pushed her to work on the case. That's the ACP sir we all know.
5. DAMN THAT TWIST AT THE END! JUST DAMN! I am impressed. I am so f-ing impressed. Hats off Banijay Asia. Hats off. And hats off to the writer of this episode. That was a twist that wasn't expected!

Overall verdict: I was going to write off this episode mostly because it was kind of all over the place, but after seeing the twist at the end I give this episode a 4 out of 5. The first 30 minutes could have been a bit tighter.

Watch it. 100% watch it. That ending. Kudos to the writers of this episode. First class.

Also dr salunkhe is there for 2 mins

First to PM (sorry don't know your name) - the person in the center of the montage has typically changed around between the trio in the first season. Daya was there in the center at least 2 or 3 times. So I wouldn't put too much emphasis on that. The season has just started. They'll probably change the montage up every once in a while if this season lasts long enough.

On Abhijeet screentime - I don't really feel the same. Yes he hasn't pulled out a gun yet, but typically one of the trio would take the center stage in each episode in the first season as well. Yesterday's episode had a lot more Abhijeet, this episode was a lot more Daya. As the season progresses, we'll probably get some action moments or high-octane scenes. I would wait until then to draw any conclusions on screentime.

Overall - I feel like we should give this PH some time to find their ground and settle in. They seem to have heard us when we said that they didn't talk about Freddy. And they are starting to bring back some of the things we remember and feel nostalgic about like Pankaj having some more comedy, some fun duo moments, etc. I'd say let's give it another 4 episodes or so to see what we get.

Abhijit has two prominent cases that flight and rail wala and ss will fluctuate as per cases /cases related to cid folks so not bothered about that. Anyways the trio are senior actors who established the brand so no way they will be sidelined. They are the strongest actors too .

Montage idk let's see not sure about that. As far i remember it was always acp pradhyuman was in centre

Personally I am satisfied with the show as it's going. Finally I have something new to watch not saas bahu reality show bakwas 😂 cid is nostalgia. If the cast is good show looks good I will ignore some plot holes etc. and it's good the ph listening to audience. Respect 🙏🙏🙏🙏
