...My whole interest of seeing Runak married rested on two points;

First, it's a justice against Arshi's crime of intending to tie Ani using unethical means...once married, Arshi atleast could not entered Anirudh's space without hindrance...Runak marriage could have saved Ani from alot of troubles...mainly his emotional troubles..

Second, I wanted to see Runak's emotional turmoils in terms of lack of trust on J's part and how both of them deal with it and overcome it...that's what I meant by jhapad...J needed to ask him many questions regarding his treatment of Arshi being different from her treatment in a similar situation... there was scope to explore and develop Runak if marriage happened...but as I said, ye sab bolne ka ab koi faida nahi hai...Leena used most illogical behaviour of the leads in this track to keep Arshi in the mix, that too permanently!

All this is moot if the writer doesn’t see a pathway to the story

I could have taken this story differently at so many points but obviously I am not the one making a serial… among the various points I felt this was the time for J to have some perspective on the dualities she lives with. Ofc she could have lived with her Amar Prem too if that’s what she wants and we could have all said goodbye that J wants to just have the right to visit when Sirjee is in trouble and she is upset now she can’t do that too..

I could have thought Ani to have an epiphany too if Ani had any inkling that Arshi was trapping him… wouldn’t he have acknowledged that in some form given his clear intention to seek love and life with J

As for the spiel on emotional bonding.. in a narrative it amounts to nothing if you don’t act upon it

She can't be full fledged vamp because in one interview Leenaji said that she can't write negative character because she feels suffocation from negative character ☺️
