During jail time, he got bashed badly on his career by Salman but he took the feedback positively and worked on it. He in fact got ignored on weekends, the episodes were mostly dedicated to guide Karan.
Avi turned the game around with his own actions, otherwise the makers were content with highlighting only Karan and Vivian for every issue.
