Ziqui and his sister yeah ..he completely tranformed her isn't it ? That goes to show how positive environment affects people ..she was with them just for a few days and they had a good positive influence on her ..she was a kid but still, she was her mother's shadow ..didn't care much abt her ..ziqui had the best ending where he was cheerful..ofc jianjian too but more than her I was happy for him..I didn't want him to be paired against little orange , that would be tragedy multiplied !

When the show ended , i cried for 10 mins , when they showed all the flashbacks ..

That had to change that wretched woman also 🥶 she had to attempt suicide to again put her son into abyss of guilt & regret . I cried so much when Ling Xiao asked his father is he now owes nothing to his mother & his sister forgave him 😢 he was doing all this for his mom as a payback to his sisters death ! I could never imagine ..he was a brilliantly written character..

Yeah he had to endure so much pain .. That hot porridge that his mom accidentally spilt on his shoulder.. Oh my god I screamed.. How painful it must have been.. He was such a great son.. I loved how much Jinjian cared for him.. She was his everything..

When he told his mom what is jinjian's i will never share it with anyone else .. Also whenever he went to see his mom she used to be anxious that if he will return or not.. Second time when he went to singapore she was legit anxious the full day.. She was low key so attached to him from childhood..

And when he confessed to her that he will marry her during school holidays and her reaction to it was hilarious..

My most favorite scene is how she announced her period.. Oh god I legit paused it and laughed for 15 mins atleast.. She was such a cutie pie in that series..and all their reaction to it was laughter riot.. It will forever be one of my favorite scenes .. 💕

My heart was full when He quiqui got his mom back.. He was legit enjoying and boasting about how his mom came for him.. Finally everybody had happy ending.. That mom eww I despised her even after she left.. I cannot handle her.. She went to play and put entire blame on him from childhood..Cruelty thy name his mom..

Exactly my feelings ..

That period scene is legit the best 👌 🤣 infact all the teenage episodes were abs lovely..there was so much innocence , love & connect between the 3 , it was bliss how they build their family from scratch ..how they were each other's heart beat ..

The school epis were hilarious ,and cute too..specially the family scenes , they were the best throughout the series..

In the later part of the show, I loved the camaraderie between jianjian and ziqui..after he got to know abt her relationship status with ling xiao ...cutest bros sister 😍

Jianjain was there for ling xiao , and ziqui also ..she instinctively knew what's troubling him & how to pull him out , what places would she be needed the most and what places she needed to give them space ..pehle she just charged mindlessly to anyone who hurt her bros , later she reacted so patiently to all the problems..

Yeah she was anxious at that time when he went to Singapore but later on I think she wasn't worried abt him coming bk to her , she was more worried about his mental health , how he would cope up with his mom & how his mom will accept their relationship , also if can plan a secure future with him coz of his mom ..all the concerns were there but then..she was patient & I loved that dialogue ..

Also that dialogue where ling xiao said that ppl grow up suddenly in one day 😢 ..

N haan those scenes where he hugs her tight 😕so heart wrenching

I wanted Tang Can to be paired with Ziqui instead of that stupid annoying friend of his. Both of them can be hyperdramatic even when serious & can make a wonderful "Cheng" family in the future However I also feel Ziqui 1st needs to understand the concept of 'romantic' love which he doesn't seem to get.

p.s. let ziqui's stupid friend be Yuan's crying-wolf uncle

Naaa I didn't want tang cang for him 🤣 I wanted somebody who's as compassionate as him who could be his partner ... . I'm glad he was kept single in the end , instead of forcing the pairs they just let these girls and boys be ..i didn't like his friends pairing with qui mingque also ..if they develop a bond nicely then it's OK.. but here girls fall for the boys just bec they're good looking or give them a pep talk once in a while ..or just a little helping gesture makes them fall for them..same with the boys..

Agree. No need to force anyone to be couple just to finish the show. Whatever they showed with trio, I was happy at the end. I liked Ziqui. As character and as actor too. I saw him in my first c-drama Skate into love and he was apt there. Go ahead was love and You are my lover friend - his character was the best.

Just a suggestion - next time you can open a new topic to discuss the new show watched, as it helps to come back when someone else starts that. It gets lost in the existing topic and becomes difficult to go through the topics to find discussion about a particular show. (Like, As beautiful as you was discussed in more than two existing topics and now I can't seem to find those )

Even I didn't want any forceful pairing just to end the show & am glad with whatever was served but among the onscreen people, I found Tang Can to be the perfect fit for him. They were quite alike in the way that she was the most sensible one among the 3 girls which side is usually kept hidden under all the melodrama she does. You see glimpse of that when Jianjian informs her when she has forgiven her brothers & she replies with detailed account on what her brothers have done for her explaining how lucky she is to have them. Then when Jianjian asks her didn't she hate them before ? she replies yes she did cause she is her bestie 1st. Also you see another similarity in her softheartedness when her ex does some forgiveness drama & takes a huge portion of her savings from her.

No complain with makers with whatever was served but if they drove in this angle with more of their interactions, giving them more time together onscreen i.e. sharing about their struggles with their parents, difficulties in their career path ( he was stubborn on being a pastry chef though his cafe was doing ok serving non-pastry items while she was passionate about acting but struggling with opportunities). Given time both could develop a great understanding since both of them were the kind who try to keep/mask their sadness & worries. This could develop into a good slow burn story but surely the point at which the show ended both of them couldn't have had got the time to wrap their head around any of this. But who says this can't happen after that

His friend was one I wanted to break into the screen & give a tight punch. I appreciate him for being a good friend but he also fed some rubbish into his mind + he was a jerk to Tang Can. I was so annoyed with his & Mingque's individual scenes. He rightly deserves to be alone forever like Yuan's howling-wolf uncle.

On the other hand I really loved the equation between JianJian's freak bf & Ziqiu

I can do it but the thing is there are very few shows which r discussed at length 😁 most of them , I just write my view n that's it ...only love like the galaxy , as beautiful as you , that too very less , and go ahead we discussed ache se ..in kdrama forum there r many topic show wise but mostly they end up in few pages only and get locked after a while .. 😁also there's already a thread to discuss the cdramas ..

It's very cute..romantic.. comfort show ..

The ml is handsome , the fl is very cute (very good progress from put my head on your shoulder ) ..she looks smart , acts well..he on the other hand is a perfect guy a girl can dream for & he has eyes only for her ..

I'm grown to like the childhood connection turned lovers since love is sweet 😁

The parallel leads , mls uncle & fls BFF, they were also a very cute couple & i was looking forward to their story as well ...I wish I could see more of them.

The story is simple & straight forward , no drag no third wheels disturbance (just a little bit ) , every issue gets sorted within half an episode, the ml is a green forest & he's so perfect to the point of unrealism 🤣

He's a doctor and she's a lawyer , he met her again after school years & pursued her as he likes only her , she liked him when they first met & it was a smooth ride for both..their chemistry was nice & passionate (not as much as love is sweet but still )

When they just start dating , due to the compulsions of their jobs , sometimes he wasn't available sometimes she was busy , that bit was well done..

Some of the best moments in the show was frm the last and second last episodes..the family scenes were heart warming ..the ending with their twins & little pup was adorable ..

Sometimes I wonder do these kind of men really exist 🤣 he was a perfect cook, a perfect doctor , a perfect house keeper , a perfect gentleman , boyfriend , son & anything you name it 🤣 they never get tired or worn out ..they never have to worry about anything..not that I wanna see problems between the couple but I just feel they raise the bar too high sometimes..anything less than that feels incomplete to me now 🤣

Don't watch melody of the golden age if you haven't see it

I mean it's ok , I finished 40 epis means there's something to it but it completely loses the plot after 30 epis..some of the things were still nice like

The ladies were majorly looking after the kingdom affairs & their roles in family & kingdom were clearly etched out which was nice.

Like in every show they have a rebellion planned n stuff but they left it for the end .. I don't wanna see too much of war

The ml and fl clicked nicely ..their forced marriage followed by slow romance was good to watch..but when they confessed , it just went downhill , like they could've ended it there n I wouldn't complain.

They followed each other cues & were a good team. She acted dumb at times but he had her back ..

For the not so good parts ,

My ears were bleeding listening to taikhon taikhon till the end that dumb empress , idiot kahi ki. Pehle toh she had a snake as her minister for a long period of time & he was plotting right under her nose but she was unaware..suddenly she hatches a plot with the ml to upturn him & what a stupid plan that was. People actually died who didn't have to die ..n rebellion was crushed just like that..I literally ff the last 4-5 epis , they lost the plot there..

Out of nowhere she wants the ml to marry her stupid family member , why ?

The side characters were fine , I like the guy who played the villain , he had an innocent face but he was evil incarnate .. his fireflies act was hell stupid n more stupid were those who couldn't guess it's him who's the master mind .

The mls revenge had nothing to it ..it was OK as i am still traumatized with the amt of damage this guy caused in love like the galaxy for his revenge .

Overall it could be written better and they cud do something about the chemistry of the leads..they looked good together & they had a good story yet they did nothing with them..they were too mechanical with each other, the warmth went completely missing when they confessed .

If I were to decide who was the dumbest, it's very tough. So I'll pass.
