Director Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana is drawing attention not just for its scale but also for the reported remuneration of its cast. The two part mythological project is being positioned as one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema, according to reports by The Times of India and other outlets.

As per The Times of India, Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram, is said to be earning Rs 75 crore per part. With the story planned across two instalments, his total remuneration is expected to reach Rs 150 crore. Earlier reports by News18 and Bollywood Life had suggested lower fees for his previous films, indicating a significant jump.

Yash, cast as Raavan, is also reported to be commanding a substantial fee. As per The Times of India, he is charging Rs 50 crore per film, taking his total to Rs 100 crore for the two part narrative. The figures reflect a shift where antagonist roles are also commanding high remuneration.

Actor Sai Pallavi, who will be seen as Sita, is reportedly earning Rs 6 crore per part, bringing her total to Rs 12 crore, as per The Times of India. Reports suggest this is among her highest paid projects so far.

Veteran actor Sunny Deol, cast as Hanuman, is said to be earning Rs 20 crore per instalment, totalling Rs 40 crore approximately. The figure is in line with his recent reported remuneration for big screen releases.

Ravi Dubey, who will portray Laxman, is reportedly being paid between Rs 2 crore and Rs 4 crore, as per media reports. While clarity on whether this covers one or both parts is awaited, it marks a notable step in his film career.

The project reflects a growing trend of high budget storytelling backed by star driven casting. While the reported figures have sparked discussion, the film’s performance will ultimately depend on audience response upon release.
