CID have only good actors. But if the two are amazing actors will they be doing the role of CID officers that too a junior one ? No. if they are amazing they will be doing the main role or villain role so they can slowly reach the Big Screen (a lots of examples are in the past - Murali Sharma, Nawasuddin Siddique, Ashwini Kalshekhar, etc.

Murali played the villain in The Case of Doctor O’s Missing Treasure and Ashwini was Asha. CID had many talented actors as villains such as Mahesh Manjrekar as HD, Shahbaz Khan as the villain in The Don’s Final Revenge, Rahil Azam as Nakul (rather a grey shaded role), Rahul Dev as Katori Damta, and many more. But some of them were simply not done justice by the writers. Noted director and actor Tigmanshu Dhulia played the role of Eye Gang Leader Barbosa, but by then the first season wasn’t really worth watching.

I know CID has had a large number of great actors over the years. I'm not disagreeing with that point. Acting and the script (except for a few episodes) has always been the biggest strength of the show.

But we did have occasional bland actors too... I still remember the two actors for Ishita-Pooja junior officers duo and a couple others (don't remember the names clearly because I didn't pay attention to them) and I am sorry but I really found them totally bland.

Of course we can't expect the juniors to be stellar actors like the others but the least we can expect is that they don't ruin the entire scene with their acting, right? I mean they are in the profession of acting, so they do need to act nicely, no?

I liked Gaurav Khanna's Inspector Kavin and I still like him, but placing him again in CID may be inappropriate as he have got more fame now and if he is shown in a Screen along with Trio, then his Screen presence will be larger thanks to his fame from the show Anupama and also he is too handsome.

The Actress who portrayed the role of Ishitha is Pooja Khatri. She is so beautiful and some what talented. If trained properly she can be a replacement of Purvi (When Ansha Sayed gets old enough as Women above 40 may find it difficult for long shoot outdoor episodes).
