For that reason, he could not retire at the end of the first match, even though India won that match.

Had India won the Adelaide match or at least drew the match, most probably Ash would have made the announcement and retired at the end of Adelaide match. India lost the match and to be fair, no one would want to retire on a losing note. So, he neither made the announcement nor retired.

Now that they have managed to draw Brisbane test with the help of rain and no one knows what is going to happen in the next two matches, Ash has decided to retire.

I won't blame anybody for this decision and for the timing.

Ash has done a great job for his country and all the best to him in whatever he does in the future.

As per his father, he was being humiliated by the selectors by not considering him as a first choice spinner for sena tours and as per him that could be the reason for him retiring out of the blue 🔵

Its strange he feels so as its pretty clear jadu with better batting abilities fit the bill straight away as compared to his son who has been blowing hot and cold with the bat in the last few years..

Kohli and rohit got complacent and refused to play domestic cricket too (even Ashwin for that matter) as if they are above the game ..Im sure they must have struggled to play spin there too..But they consider themselves too important to make themselves available for that..

I used to hate head earlier too but now i have found a deep sense of respect for him especially when i compare his technique with our own batsmen.. Can our middle order handle seam/swing like him?? Highly doubt..He even handled bumrah so well when others were struggling..

kohli loves to ramble everywhere and engage in a lavish lifestyle which is all fine but if that takes your focus off the game and affects ur performance then its a problem 🥲

Sachin used to play domestic cricket even at his peak. Such was his dedication to cricket which today's players can never have. RoKo can never reach his level.
