Idk how Ammu fell in love with such a guy, but the guy had everything to fall for her. I want that to come out before Ammu says something.

Virat is a mistery more than Ammu actually. But just like the story, they messed up his potential. If Ammu is the centric of the show, V is its source of feeding.

Agree with Nilmi too. The writers had one job wrt Virat - to make him likeable to viewers who are not Arjit fans - and they failed. Only likeability the character has comes because Arjit is playing it and because Amruta is around him (don't know why she is.). Else as a character, to me he is a major flop. Been waiting for this dumb Amruta to run away and burn all the bridges as she leaves - which, we all know, is not going to happen.

Except for his ability to physically dominate her many times, he has been the weaker one since the beginning. Hmm... Did he not become weak especially after ex's entry? Specifically after she came to Mumbai? I think that's how it went. So... is he scared of losing Ammu, or is he scared that he will have to live with ex (Ammu will be leaving her to the wolves) if she leaves?

He has often been shown manipulative, self-serving, ready to play the victim any time - he immediately switched to playing the victim after his gaffe in the last ep.

We can see she appreciates the help she recieves from others - Jahan, Virat, and now Shubh (the scene in the office)... Shubh has done an 'ehsaan' too on her by helping her out with Virat's case, and is doing the same now. Does that mean she has to 'love' him? But it is something she does with Virat. Why? Beats me. Especially with the wonderful thing he did in the mela. The viewers who go gaga on him and their relationship now (then v/s now or 'oh how fast the night changes'/ 'friends to foes to flames'), I wonder how many of them will be like Ammu if something similar happens to them. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Virat currently - since probably ex's entry / Babs exposure - is a much better version... but he has miles to go... something I dont think the show can wait for. I'd say they've been consistent with the character ever since babs exposure, but they've given him aspects that don't go well at all. Better but still not good enough. He is mostly all talk no action - muttering away platitudes when he wont do anything.

You had posted something around the promises they've made to eo. Cant find the post now, but was thinking about the situations where those promises can still hold. Only thing I could think of is something you suggested in a previous post - a Tanu 2.0 with ex... perhaps even leading to a Mogambo like track too along with it. (Will they really repeat that with Sriti after kkb? I hope not).

Given how she is going, Ammu is likely to go "isme bhi aapki koi galti nahi hai" even if ex will actually be pregnant.

Thats from meeting Virat in jail with Babs ep to the end of the two combo eps. The combo eps may have helped Vasudha - it rose to 1.2... and is there along with the Bhagyas and Jaane anjaane one.

[But acc to me at least the story is better after the combo eps... with the current plot. Will it help?]

Bass itna sa khwaab went further down 0.4 and Jamai one got a decent opening with 0.8

Seems like it was 1.4 for the combo eps (perhaps in Vasudha).

Came across this comment on X.

"i hope KaiseMujheTumMilGaye proves every cliché ITV theory wrong... counters all past trends... and DO NOT show any separation after these beautiful romantic episodes... rather they show a couple being understanding and trustful of each other, fighting all outside force.."

I do think the writers / makers are trying something similar... and perhaps that's the place where they are going wrong. Stories are stories because they follow a certain pattern or archetype... One can mess around with these and end up with a confused story.

The mela 'had to' have a separation. If they didn't intend to have a separation, they shouldn't have gone for the mela thing. You cant have the cake and eat it too.

There is more to it than the separation thing - not going with some archetypes / cliches. Them losing property when Ammu is around is one example.

True that! I guess they didn't expect people's reaction to the Mela and now they are trying to do damage control. Too little too late for me!

Virat is open about his feelings and is able to express them clearly which is good. He is able to open up to Amruta most of the time so she is aware of what is in his mind. His fear stems up from his insecurities in a way - feeling like a loser who keeps messing up (he did tell Amu that’s what he thinks about himself at the moment) lost his financial wealth, lost their properties and on top of other issues. Her family keeps reminding him that Amruta can find someone better. And to add to that Shubh and his psycho ex and all their agendas.

Amruta is the practical one who is able to adjust quickly to life’s circumstances and doesn’t dwell on past or emotions too long. But would be good to see her share her feelings and vent out if she needs to.

Now as in the precap, looks like they are proceeding with their drama of break up. (In the video Pri was showing Virat, Amu was in red saree…is that same as in bts with Virat or not? Can’t decipher if that’s part of this or completely different scene). Not sure if keeping all family in the dark is a good idea. Maybe should have kept the siblings, Dildar and JK in the loop. So maybe Dildar and Nimmi could keep an eye on BA if she makes any unknown moves. Players like Babitha can make some moves which Amvira have not accounted for and things might shift?

So based on today’s dialogues, could they be heading for a separation (to keep the story going forward)? And even if Virat has that fear of losing Amu and them being separated, he does tell her he wont give up and let her go. He will fight for them and for her as they are destined to be together! (More on that later)

Kal (compared to other days) unke galti nahin ta. However, I agree V could differentiate the alcohol from the apple juice. So, yep did he continue on purpose because he saw his wife with Shubh??? Maybe.

Talking about the red saree, what if it's a dream and V ka galti hoga (as he said to Ammu on today's eps "if I make a mistake"), What if he is dreaming of Ammu but was trapped by Pri again??? I don't know what is in the maker's mind but I don't feel anything about this lovey-dovey track. Let's see!

Bold: Oh... it was his galti... and Ammu suggesting it was not is . Perhaps not as big as before. They have a plan, stick to it. He knew it wasn't alcohol in the first sip, yet he continued. They had talked about the plan. She had mentioned she will have to take certain decisions which will look very bad but dont fret on them. He mentioned about the sun rising in the west for him to not trust her... can argue he isn't confident about Shubh's intentions. Yup... take it that Shubh really has the worst intentions, is this the best way to deal with it? Has he talked about this fear? Confessing I am scared you may leave me is probably cute... but shows the lack of trust in her. I can even suggest does he see himself in Shubh and what he is doing with Ammu? Perhaps followed the same toolkit.... be nice and make her indebted?

At this point, I am not sure when Virat is acting and when he is being serious (or genuine).
