When Assad's regime in Syria fell recently, people rushed to free the prisoners he held and tortured

While searching for one such secretive prison, CNN’s Clarissa Ward made a startling discovery when a rebel fighter uncovered a hidden prisoner still unaware of Assad’s ouster.

He was held there for months supposedly. The clip is so touching

Only problem is many think it's totally staged. It's so obviously fake, they say

If it was staged, was Clarissa Ward in on it too?

She's a 'respected' journalist with 20yrs experience. Would she do that?

But if she was fooled, that's no less embarrassing

Clarissa is an actress who calls herself a journalist. Staged AF. It's embarassing.

Yeah, many commented on that and how clean the cell is

People who have spent time there say it's much more filthy and crowded

And the kicker is that guy was not Assad's prisoner but worked for him. He was an intelligent officer in his government

They're blaming it on that guy and claiming he faked his identity. When the whole crew was faking it from the start. Her last fake story from last year about Hamas rockets was marginally better acting-wise.

The lack of ethics aside it's shocking that this was staged so poorly and they expected anyone to believe it. Even a child would be able to tell it's fake. Shouldn't have taken them more than a hour to find the right man , get some make up on him and dirty the cell to make it look convincing 😆.

Cried . Wow. Gullibility pro Max. Another tell was how she spoke English after the lock was 'shot open'. She's constantly flaunted her command in Arabic so why wouldn't she speak that here. And the way the man kissed her makes me wonder if he's from that region at all. Maybe it's some American man with ME ethnicity and the fact checker confused him with the Salama guy. CNN must be on a suicide mission if they want to keep airing this nonsense.
