Either way, Ammar isn’t who he pretended to be. The drinking coming out now in itself should tell Sadaf all she needs to know. That’s problem enough, it’s not even necessary that he has an affair for this to not work out

Haseeb has made this show like mann mayal..where the leads had scenes till epi 5 and after epi 5 the leads had next scene in epi 20..if the show was directed by nadeem baig instead of haseeb,the execution of the script wouldn't have been so frustrating

this is mann mayal without the sallu track and mannu-sallu falling in love.

in mann mayal, sallu had his own journey and tracks which had nothing to do with mannu. he was more than just ek nakaam aashiq of mannu. sallu had his whole separate karachi track with his friend and friend's family, how he became rich. even with jeena, he had conversations that did not revolve around mannu. uske parents wala bhi mini subplot tha. sallu was a fully realized character at least who had his own journey, relationships and tracks that did not revolve around mannu. BA doesn't get any of that. His traumas do not get explored. His sobriety struggle happened offscreen. Him as a competent hotelier they don't even care to show. How his feelings for Sadaf evolved from attraction to aqeedat/ibadat - no need. All we got were the magic words "peete huey meri beti ka naam mat leejiye" in guise of a cktr "arc". Bilal mostly reacts to situations and rarely drives the action in the story (other than bone marrow operation and rishta le jaana). Bilal has not had any single conversation with Humsha that is not about Sadaf. His only dimension is to be toota hua selfless one sided lover. Woh bhi kitna dikhayenge. Log tang aajayenge. Sallu at least had his own life and lots to do even during the first 20 episodes.

Also, in mann mayal, at least you saw them how they fell in love. you understood it. ppl were rooting for them to be together. as a result ppl could put up with 15 episodes of separation. devdas or hdccs main we cared about the separation (judai) because we were made to invest in the couple's bond in the first part. you cannot not develop any relationship or bond between leads and then introduce long separation and then expect viewers to remain invested.

I just felt like Sadaf is trying her best to save the relationship. She said that if she doubts ammar,it will be like an insult to him and the relationship. Sadaf gave chances to ammar to share his problems but he doesn't speak up...IDK whether he is scared of losing sadaf or he is guilty of cheating on her

This forced EMA angle of ammar dania is very weird..but tbh,the way ammar is giving hope to dania and stays back whenever she says,I just feel like he is actually not very sure of his relationship with Sadaf.

Its just a dragged storyline at the end of the day...love at first sight and all is fine with me but its because of the drag you feel really frustrated
