Today was actually the most direct hints yet that she's given on that front ....isse pehle bhi thoda bahut she's shown some characters saying Runak are made for each other, unki shaadi sacchi thi blah blah.....but this is the first time in an epi they showed multiple scenes with discussion of Runak ki shaadi

Pehle woh Runak scene mein Ani ne bola ki hum shaadi karke kahin door chale jaayenge to start afresh and but Jhanak Rani ne as usual manaa kar diya.

Phir woh AK scene mein toh extensive discussion hui on this point. AK ne baar baar recap kiya ki Anishi are done and zimmedaari koi bhi ho kisi ki taraf, shaadi Ani ko sirf Jhanak se karni chahiye.....Ani ko itna direct motivation hardly kisi aur se mila hoga....AK ne fully pump kar diya ki saam daam dand bhed sab lagaa lo bhai but Jhanak ko apne paas rakho and preferably shaadi karke. Ani ne bhi bol diya ki obviously main Jhanak se hi shaadi karna chahta hoon but abhi time lagega cuz usko manaana mushkil hoga and pehle toh more important to figure out a way to keep her in Kolkata to save her life.....lol

Then Apu di waale scene mein first time Jhanak didn't give a belligerent reaction to Apu di saying she should have married Ani and become Apu ki bhabhi ....aaj Jhanak was giving somewhat coy reactions about Sirji and puraane dino ki tarhan baat bhi kar rahi thi Apu di se

So saaf dikh raha hai ki Leena wants to dangle this hope about Runak shaadi abhi bhi....now whether she snatches this away abruptly when Didi phodoes her pregnancy bomb or still shows a pathway to achieve this, that toh time will tell....but aaj yes pehli baar they showed people talking about Anishi as a dead horse that can't be resurrected warna humesha Anishi excuse use karke hi Runak ko impossible bolte the....so remains to be seen if pregnancy bomb se log phir se Anishi ko resurrected samjhenge ki that will be placed in zimmedaari category as all Arshi related matters currently are

Arshi will always be in zimmedari zone ..she was the same for him in post aag track also...but that time, he was not sure about his love for J...so he manaoed himself it's best to resurrect 'feelings' for Arshi...but now...it will be zimmedari towards preggo didi and love will always be J...he may again try to make things work with Arshi given family pressure and his own guilt (fed by didi), but pyar hone se raha...

Pehle Anishit ka rishte ki excuse deke Runak ko invalid bolte the..ab Anishit pregnancy ko centre karke Runak ko invalidate karenge!

...I believe Leena will remarry Runak at some point in time...but tab tak kitna damage karegi Runak ka aur audience interested rahenge bhi ya show off air ho jaye, cannot be said atp...ideally, she should wrap up pregnancy track asap so that viewers remain hopeful .

Speaking of Arshi being called zimmedaari, lol Runak scene mein they showed Ani pushing back on the claim a bit when Jhanak was like Arshi didi aapki zimmedaari hain toh he was like uski life ki zimmedaari meri kaise hui? Maine toh uski kismat nahin likhi .....I was like badi jaldi tujhe yeh yaad aa gaya Ani when otherwise you keep calling her your zimmedaari in every other scene......sab Leena Maata ki den hai, kya karein

Ani ka yeh saara dilemma is being built up in a similar way as the first 100 epis only.....again he is looking at extreme measures and doing morally grey things to keep Jhanak in Kolkata cuz her life is in danger in the place she is insisting on returning to. Last time that place was Kashmir....this time that place is Mumbai . First 100 epis mein bhi Jhanak used to MU Ani most of the time ki JHOOT bolke kyun mujhe yahaan rakha hua hai, aap galat kar rahe hain, mujhe FORCE karke nahin rakh sakte blah blah and Ani was basically making her stay put with a mix of threats and encouragement...lol tab bhi he used to have these monologues about ek din tum samjhogi ki main yeh sab kyun kar raha hoon Jhanak

Now cut to present situation....it is no breaking news that Ani wants to marry Jhanak....but they are showing that this whole angle of making her stay in Kolkata at any cost is taking precedence over his general mission of convincing Jhanak to marry him and stay with him....and that is where he will likely get tangled up in the mess of these fake cancer reports he is using. Makers are adding the justification that Ani is only taking extreme measures cuz it is again about protecting Jhanak's life more than his selfish desire to keep her close to him....lol but since woh is sabse pehle bhi itni baar Jhanak ko bol chuka hai to stay with him, toh lagega yehi that woh "bura aadmi" hai who used fake cancer reports to haasil karo Jhanak......that was an interesting moment today when Ani asked his colleague ki why do you think main achha aadmi hoon? ....bechara abhi se moral conundrum mein phass raha hai hai

Jhanak and Apu di scene today was again so sweet and very reminiscent of the old days....Apu di ekdum delighting in teasing her about Ani.....baar baar she was scoffing at Jhanak's claims about returning to Mumbai and seedha seedha bol diya ki mera bhi tumhein kahin jaane hi nahin dega....lol and kitna tease kar rahi thi Jhanak ko ki tum sharma rahi ho blah blah...for a change Jhanak was not even acting that stern with Apu di over mentions of Ani warna daant deti thi.....

The way they showed Jhanak melting in the first scene simply cuz Ani ne bol diya phir kabhi contact mat karna mujhe....lol she doesn't want to admit ki she's fighting a losing battle...she won't tolerate a situation jismein her access to Ani is PERMANENTLY closed even if otherwise isko respectable option bhi nahin choose karna of marrying Ani and giving respect to their love for each other....isliye bhaagi bhaagi gayi Ani ki taraf when he was walking away

Great points and 👏 The interesting juxtaposition you have alluded to… a few thoughts on this..

In the initial episodes when Ani used grey modes to manipulate to keep Jhanak safe through Ani’s pov there was his stated purpose of discharging responsibility.. while his heart was getting involved deeper and deeper.

However slowly and steadily…the stated aim has now changed to love, now there is no mask to hide behind… The narrative has now presented a situation of Jhanak in danger that Ani must respond to.

Earlier, when he used the manipulative methods to keep her in BH…the stakes weren’t as high as now when his manipulative methods are likely to get misrepresented or misunderstood

However as usual I have one bone to pick with the writers… How can you use such silly plot device to convey an important point in the tale?

1)The compulsion in front of Ani so poorly brought out through the KB plotline bwahaha… are the writers so bereft of imagination? They killers are watching her every move in Kolkata but they will only kill her in Mumbai 😂😂😂 Adi a film star is helpless but an IT engineer has all the powers 😂😂😂 chalo pyaar main bahut takat hoti hain.

2 )his use of the colleague’s father’s cancer reports..while the fd is going gaga over his dark side…I wonder if it’s poor scripting technique or does the writer want to convey that Ani will stop at nothing.. his use of reports of an unknown person could have also done the job cos the manipulation charge would have still been intact in that case too!!! I am confused about this… would like to know more thoughts on this..

underlined above - yes..It’s going along expected lines… my reading of J has been about when the moral perch comes down
