I found that part in Bilal Abdullah's character beautiful because in today's world people think that chasing someone means you are loving that person but the true meaning of love is actually letting go..

Also a person like Bilal Abdullah who had relationship with girls,if he wanted to befriend or chase Sadaf..it would have looked like she is his zidd or another challenge and not someone whom he would like to marry and settle down with.

I found jaan e jahan better in this regard... while shehram did not start as a alcoholic, his idea of love was always about protecting mahnoor.. in fact the way shehram used to treat mahnoor was with a lot of respect, and reverence... when she wanted to marry someone else he got out of the way..

,....there were class dynamics and plotting step mother but there was plenty of interactions between the leads., he wasn't a rich guy passing time with a poor girl

i didn't take it that way. it may not mean more episodes just that ammar ka screentime abhi kaafi baqi hai. until e19, ammar pe itna focus nahi tha. i think abhi wala track kafi ammar-sadaf focused hai aur shayad itni jaldi na khatam hua.

In JEJ,Respect and reverence was there but lot of halal flirting and friendship was also there I feel. It made sense tbh because shehram didn't have marasim with girls before..

On contrary if Bilal Abdullah a guy who had relationships with girls before,if he started flirting and try to be friends with Sadaf before proposing for a official relationship,it would look like he consider her as a challenge more than life partner.

He is saying this in every interview..but I still feel like main story starts now...and he kind of gave a hint that Sadaf Bilal would have a haopy ending...and ammar sadaf divorce would be because of possessiveness.

it didn't have to be a relationship but you could have shown multiple interactions in the office. Iwould have liked to see a growing trust and friendship at least, but then Sadaf ka Humsha ki baaton main aana would have made even less sense. The issue is that the rishta bhejna and rejection should have happened by e7-8. You can't stretch that phase to e16-17.
