Whats up with eden, kashish and sarah?

I dont understand why they played for avinash and rajat today? They gave all their money to avinash and rajat and they know it so well that avinash is not going to support them so as rajat he may support sarah but not kashish and eden they still gave their money to both of them. If they kept it for themselves they could've been a contender like chum and shrutika. I think karan team played smartly. They announced that they going to give all their money to karan but at the end they sat down, not moved and kept it for themselves.
