I like Akshara so my perspective is slightly different. Abhimanyu made huge mistakes, there was no coming back together after what he did. Yet, he was shown as a hero, a flawed one but still a hero who made mistakes and his character was glorified by writer. It was done more covertly unlike Abhinav's whose glorification was more evident to the audience. In all this, some viewers supported Abhimanyu, and some loved Abhinav.
Akshara was impulsive and had her flaws, made bad decisions but she was a collateral damage to Abhimanyu's actions. Abhinav was shown to love Abhir more than AK, is that right? A mother who goes through so much pain to give birth and they kept glorifying that Abhir pe Abhinav ka haq zyada hai
Simply I will say Abhimanyu is not Godly, but a simple human made of flesh and blood. He has emotions and he expressed it.
When you are told that your brother died and your unborn kid's are gone all because the of stupid decision of your own wife, the love of your life,you will be broken. On the top of that when you try to reason with her she was like 'what was my mistake' you will loose sainity for sure. That woman whose twins was miscarried was unable to understand the mess she created. She was unable to understand that she simply endangered the life of her unborn twins because of her own stupidity.

See, I don't unnecessarily hate people in real life and characters in reel life. As I said, I like Abhinav and I like Abhimanyu too. Also, I do not hate Abhira for her parentage.
Her character in the initial episodes was good but since she got married to Armaan things have been different. She is supposed to be the FL of the show but she acts like a villain. Her quick to judge attitude, jumping onto conclusions way, and her green tea attitude is what irks me the most.
She simply became too annoying to handle and I absolutely detest characters like these who act all high and mighty in front of others but are actually not that good. She also has this habit of triggering other people's traumas like Akshu used to do and she is also oblivious to the concept of giving someone some time and space to recover.
All she cares about is herself and getting her happy happy, hum saath saath hain style family. Ruhi has made it clear that she hates her but she continued her didi jaap for some time and then with Abhir, she literally scared him into doing what she wanted. That is why I hate her.
As for Akshu she was flawed, agreed but she made really really bad decisions and it is because of her decisions that this current generation characters are suffering. She is the sole reason for Ruhi and Abhir's trauma and Abhira's sufferings.
Nothing can justify that and nothing can make me change my opinion about her. As for the kispe kiska kitna haq, Abhimanyu, Abinav and Akshu all had equal rights because for Abhimanyu and Akshu, he's their biological son and Abhinav helped raise Abhir.
But Abhimanyu wasn't given the chance to be Abhir's father while Abhinav had that chance.
Something similar I dislike impulsive peep and peep who do not give space..if some one says no respect it..ru abhir both she has triggered
Esp ru has made it clear respect the line
I also dislike too good peep who try to be mahaan and give bashaan to others but don't follow thru when it is them

i cant say about others but for me i liked both the characters and they are correct at their respective points.
i just had problem with akshara ..She clearly had taken some dumb decisions in mahanta ke chakkar mein and this just caused a havoc in other life...And she had just this habit of not giving personal space is what annoyed me most..Be it arohi , manjri abhimanyu when they were at there lowest and needed space she unnecessarily chipkofied herself and her nazaria..same is the chakkar of abhira she doesnt know the meaning of personal space and doesnt understand meaning of boundary line or trauma..usko apne aap ko bas thopna hai upar se jo woh dusro ko kehti hai khud apne pe apply nahi karti ..
coming back to ak....she did take some stupid decisions and uske chakkar mein all the three kids are sufferring..
1) woh behen ne paper pe dekh ke maan liya abhir mar chukka and nau do gyraa hogayi waha se ..and till her death she never even told her daughter ki tera bhai hai( if we assume only abhimamyu died ignore blooper of abhir died and uski aatma aayi thi)
2) ruhi ki wajah se arohi never died it was an accident ..( no elder was in car and u cant expect a 6 yr old kid mein dher saari buddhi hogi).. but madam ji ne jo dekha and assumed it ki ruhi ki galti and then phir saara ilzaam apne sar. and then chali gayi.
